After being reminded by Pat that one of my May cards was supposed to be an easel card I swiftly grabbed my parcel of bits to see what I had left!! Finally I came up with this one ................. making a grand total of 8 ..... yes eight!! ....... cards from Pat's May parcel .............

As usual I'm not happy with my colouring at all but it looked a bit better after I cut the picture down

I also made 3 other cards from my own bits this month, 2 more for my Christmas stash and 1 birthday that I don't really need, LOL, but it just came together as I was sorting through some bits ...........

Well it was time to move on to Liz's nautical parcel this week .............. I managed to make 5 cards, yes Pat one is an easel card but I need Liz to take a pic for me when she comes over (pretty please Liz).
So here are the other 4 ......................

May and time to open a new parcel ............ it was Pat's choice this month and she chose "Nautical" ......... so I thought I'd open her parcel first. Lots of lovely bits & pieces fell out when I did ..... papers, ribbons, stamped images, etc.,......... the only thing missing was inspiration!!
I spread the bits out beside my computer and, inbetween answering e-mails and playing facebook games, I kept looking at them. It took a while but eventually I had one card worked out, ..... from there things seemed to fall into place and (over a couple of days) I found I had made 7 (yes seven!!) cards,.......... not bad for someone with no inspiration, LOL.
So here are 6 of them (I'll show the other one later on!) ............

On this one I added strips of my own paper at the sides, I tried one that Pat had enclosed but it wasn't quite right.

I again added my own backing paper to this one, I didn't like the plain card behind it but wanted something that was very light.

The blue strips are mine on this one. I love the little wooden boat Pat sent.

I didn't think I'd use this paper yet as it just didn't say "Nautical" to me ............ the bird didn't either really .......... but the 2 seemed to go together nicely. I love the paper even if I don't like green, LOL

This one is all from Pat ............ most of it from the parcel and the gold trim & greeting she had sent me before.

This one again I wasn't sure I'd use, but in the end I like what I did ............. I'm even happy with my colouring of the bird!!

A few days ago I was sorting out some bits & pieces (trying to bring some sort of order to my stash once again!!!) and found several bits I felt I wanted to use ........... so sorting & tidying my stash was once again put aside as I dragged bits & pieces from here & there and (so far, I have more bits I want to use) made these 3 cards ...............
