Well I have finally got around to scanning my new cards, ...... I've been too busy making them!!
Quite a selection so let's get on with it shall we ..........

This I made from an old card, I love recycling old cards and making something new so they can still be enjoyed.
The next 4 are a bit of an experiment as they are handdrawn by me, I've often thought I'd love to draw my own cards so I thought I'd give it a go with some simple patterns first. I was quite pleased with them.

Now onto my February parcel from Pat ................. the theme she chose was black/white & 1 other colour, my 3rd colour was purple. I had some lovely bits to use and here's what I've done so far ......

The 1st, 2nd & 3rd were made basically only with the bits from Pats parcel, the 4th one used black paper and some gorgeous purple ribbon from the parcel and then I added some gold mandala peel offs to it.
Just one more, the idea for this came to me as I was making the cards above so I stuck to lilac/purple shades ..........

So there we are, ........... now it's back to work for me!! I have 2 more cards I'm working on from Pat's parcel and a couple more I have vague ideas for that may or may not work out.

Here I am again then, with more cards to show you. Firstly another card (no.8!!!) from my envelope of "blues" Pat sent me for the January swap, I think this might be the last ............ but you never know, I still have a few odd bits left!!!!
I then opened my February parcel from Liz ......... Pat set the theme for this and it was "Black, White & one other colour". I was looking forward to this as I love Black & White.
So far I have made 4 cards ............ but I'm only showing you 3. The 4th is an easel card which I cannot scan because of the shape, and I can't photograph because my camera died (all together now ... aaaaaaaaaaaaah).
So here are the 3 I can show you ......

I was particularly pleased with the 3rd one.

As if that wasn't enough I had a good rummage round and picking bits from an advent swap I did and my own stash I carried on and made the following ...........

And then I even made my 1st Christmas card ........ well you can't start too early you know!! It's quite a simple one made using recycled bits from an old card .....

One down ............... lot's to go!!!!!!!!
