It's all the fault of Barbara Owen ...... if you haven't watched her stream on YouTube then do so, she's a lovely, funny and very talented lady.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Anyway I resisted for a few years and just watched her streams, admiring her work, but I didn't need any more hobbies, and anyway I couldn't draw Mandalas so i just admired Barbs ....... but finally I gave in and one day I drew along with Barb. That was it, I was hooked!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">So here's a few of my first mandalas, these were done drawing along with Barb and after her streams.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Time I started posting again. I don't make quite so many cards these days so a change of content I think. I'm more into playing around with markers, paints and coloured pencils these days. I love adult colouring books and enjoy art journalling (which I'm not very good at!), also love just doodling and my latest discovery? ....... I love drawing Mandalas.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">I get a lot of inspiration from watching YouTube streams and also from Pinterest. I sometimes do copy things other people have done simply to practice and learn. I try not to copy exactly though. If I ever post anything on here that is obviously taken from an idea of yours I hope you will take it as the compliment it is meant as. However if you ever think I am copying you and want me to remove something all you have to do is contact me and ask. I never mean any offense to anyone. What I do I do for my own pleasure, I do not sell any of my work in any form at all.</span>TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-51688458977375286072015-10-23T05:11:00.001-07:002015-10-23T05:11:19.817-07:00OH DEAR !! OH DEAR !!Well I'm further behind than ever, I haven't even shown you Septembers cards and here we are headed rapidly towards the end of October!!! Ok let's rectify that right now shall we? I only made 2 cards in September, one from each envelope. I've also done Octobers, 2 from each envelope so I did better.<br />
Let's get on with the show then, .......... hopefully the pics will be ok, my scanner didn't want to work so had to use my phone!<br />
Here we go then, September first .............<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is from Pat's envelope ............ I think the theme might have been heat embossing but I'm not sure, well I've done a lot of things since then, LOL<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ok, on to October now ...............</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, first 2 are from Liz's envelope and the theme here was peel offs, long time since I've used them so was quite fun to do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
These next 2 are from Pat's envelope and I chose decoupage for them. The sunflower on the first and the butterfly on the second are decoupaged although it doesn't show too well here as I kept them quite flat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
So there we are, all up to date once again. I will try better in future to do things quicker, ............ no promises though, once my head gets into doodling or family history mode everything else goes out the window, LOL.<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-65097881277931035592015-09-03T07:48:00.002-07:002015-09-03T07:48:58.725-07:00I AM SOOOOOOO BEHIND!!!!!!Well talk about late, I'm so late it's not worth mentioning........... but I did!!!<br />
I never even managed to blog July's cards although I did make them, but only 1 from each parcel. It was all my daughters fault, having reached 39 she thought she would try out her first "childhood" illness and went down with Chicken Pox! I have to admit she was very bad with it and I did all the right Motherly things, looking after her, tempting her to eat, worrying over her ................. well I did until i found she had passed it on to me! As I'd had it as a child I was even less amused, LOL. Luckily by then she was feeling well enough to take over the nursing duties, ........... good job too cos I can tell you now that getting it as an adult is no fun at all !!!!!!!!<br />
So July basically escaped me, August wasn't far behind as I tried get some energy back and catch up with myself. I had to make my cards alone as Liz and I didn't manage a crafting day but luckily this month had a theme rather than techniques ......... and that theme was Christmas.<br />
I made 4 cards, 2 from each parcel (although I may well make more in time) so without any further rambling from me here they are ...................<br />
<br />
Firstly from Liz's parcel 2 fairly simple ones but I liked them both.<br />

But she let him out the other afternoon, she went down to the yard with him, ... I went along with my camera!!<br />
After having a look around and taking in the various smells Jaffa headed for one of the trees ............ and shot up as far as he could go!!!!!! He then realised he was still nowhere the birds he had his eye on .............. and he had no idea how to get down!!!! For about half an hour he went back and forth among the branches, slipping, hanging on for dear life at times and looking down at us for help ............. we called and encouraged (and giggled at his antics) and eventually he worked it out, well sort of, and with a slip, a slide, and a rush he made it back to the ground .........<br />
<br />
Hey look at me, I'm can climb right to the top ....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSkOZ6qnF3MzD14FDDtnAksSaKZvIsF_RIu5K-HtG9zrh2hSzrgDG8lTt_nX7qrQP0iIgwNbFwOSBg8WZfFXLRT042fHcJ3b4XOBehm5W_ScdLET7JohWt431mcsCS-Pobx2mtmFBy7EiB/s1600/P1020423.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSkOZ6qnF3MzD14FDDtnAksSaKZvIsF_RIu5K-HtG9zrh2hSzrgDG8lTt_nX7qrQP0iIgwNbFwOSBg8WZfFXLRT042fHcJ3b4XOBehm5W_ScdLET7JohWt431mcsCS-Pobx2mtmFBy7EiB/s320/P1020423.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

I must be getting used to our technique challenges as I found this months a lot easier, LOL. I used Decoupage for Pat's parcel and Die cuts for Liz's and managed a total of 5 cards.<br />
So on with the show and first up the cards from Liz's parcel ......<br />
<br />
Both very simple cards, loved this picture as it reminded me of my childhood and picking bunches of bluebells to take home for my Mum and my Nan<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI4EIBEDlgZ8abtVYQd5gb8FuPpBdR7PtFjFfBXbUqqJIHq6nA0Cf14eEs_Y54T9dqm-A-d4WR-2C9rsVcBfK6wuiHbqeWm2sVN2BxKA-uYI906CznbWKtFw0rOLRJFpTqKYwWP8FVWgPr/s1600/Ljune15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI4EIBEDlgZ8abtVYQd5gb8FuPpBdR7PtFjFfBXbUqqJIHq6nA0Cf14eEs_Y54T9dqm-A-d4WR-2C9rsVcBfK6wuiHbqeWm2sVN2BxKA-uYI906CznbWKtFw0rOLRJFpTqKYwWP8FVWgPr/s320/Ljune15-01.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
This one was even easier as I just put a greeting on a tag and added it to the paper Liz had included!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXIpQY-E54aH7StVebUVKLb_TeVj8Ncj3HtuF5N7pPFBSBVgAXMvZoN6k3b_iVxpTH0mREvL6WY3zIL78miT55Lj7mtkbOwRGRSUpXHV4cQtg_OEbpsqTCye9TTqK6j4cONW3WxuS8GZvz/s1600/Ljune15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXIpQY-E54aH7StVebUVKLb_TeVj8Ncj3HtuF5N7pPFBSBVgAXMvZoN6k3b_iVxpTH0mREvL6WY3zIL78miT55Lj7mtkbOwRGRSUpXHV4cQtg_OEbpsqTCye9TTqK6j4cONW3WxuS8GZvz/s320/Ljune15-02.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So onto my parcel from Pat now ...........</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the paper from my parcel with the decoupaged gardening bits from my stash</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0o4F87au_6IUiLQYP6AjYuPpGI_r86Xp9jkDTXZLJUMxKMXDCYo-KVU7PmIjLC2NtAvZbrd0TrsixpBsQn-T6IKxMqeUAf3gjzRc3_GefJHHcfeNYkEGAk6E6vPk3aiDoENAR4eSz-Oe-/s1600/Pjune15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0o4F87au_6IUiLQYP6AjYuPpGI_r86Xp9jkDTXZLJUMxKMXDCYo-KVU7PmIjLC2NtAvZbrd0TrsixpBsQn-T6IKxMqeUAf3gjzRc3_GefJHHcfeNYkEGAk6E6vPk3aiDoENAR4eSz-Oe-/s320/Pjune15-01.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
Although only a little of it shows the blue background paper was from the parcel and the rest from my stash<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNWqs2u9rMEgsYm9Izv-UVeyIVXoz1ua5tT7tMBuh8zfXo1BYqnPXPHKWc7E0lqFTcFFyVzImiaz-drO-7xBL1XNVhkTRcnCptGLvTsHrUJaNF_uCUl2tl-X_DGZuTZMKqdZVYngLlQoTf/s1600/Pjune15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNWqs2u9rMEgsYm9Izv-UVeyIVXoz1ua5tT7tMBuh8zfXo1BYqnPXPHKWc7E0lqFTcFFyVzImiaz-drO-7xBL1XNVhkTRcnCptGLvTsHrUJaNF_uCUl2tl-X_DGZuTZMKqdZVYngLlQoTf/s320/Pjune15-02.jpg" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
Again I used the paper from my parcel with bits from my stash<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnhTm0lMV2olXa3hyPm4r5j1UdzvTEzOKLpJFwFjYDKMfmYweat77Rpl9JjSWcvj_obyleSXEV48l4F87XTXYswTDytav-CWOqapzrhbPbOe5x0Kv0lGvcF0ofiiU3KsqTkqN5D0NLcXuS/s1600/Pjune15-03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnhTm0lMV2olXa3hyPm4r5j1UdzvTEzOKLpJFwFjYDKMfmYweat77Rpl9JjSWcvj_obyleSXEV48l4F87XTXYswTDytav-CWOqapzrhbPbOe5x0Kv0lGvcF0ofiiU3KsqTkqN5D0NLcXuS/s320/Pjune15-03.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm quite happy with this months makes which is unusual as there is usually at least one I don't like much after I've made it, LOL</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-16561175927399028292015-05-30T12:12:00.002-07:002015-05-30T12:12:14.079-07:00MAYDAY! MAYDAY!Well I am almost out of time so I may well have been shouting for help if I'd left this any longer, LOL, but here I am finally.<br />
As usual for this year I had a hard time putting my cards together again this month, I don't know why that is because we only have to use one item from our envelope on each card (more if we want of course) and whichever technique we have chosen, but somehow I am finding it very difficult.<br />
Still I got there eventually, and managed 2 cards from Liz's parcel & 3 from Pat's, so let's get the show on the road .....<br />
<br />
I chose heat embossing as my technique for Liz's parcel and was quite pleased with my results as it's something I've only done a few times before.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKc666_3QKXXv2CixOBFfIR0uO0XTH8tqY73dhGhoRouezmCDfHFhcd132E0oaW74IeKBLNyeAysbMlBLMglfYn-cb8pOBF5giLHgz4ld2BSlyka5oh0l6NG0Y2-Dc3IwJ7c6boKuKjKn/s1600/Lmay01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKc666_3QKXXv2CixOBFfIR0uO0XTH8tqY73dhGhoRouezmCDfHFhcd132E0oaW74IeKBLNyeAysbMlBLMglfYn-cb8pOBF5giLHgz4ld2BSlyka5oh0l6NG0Y2-Dc3IwJ7c6boKuKjKn/s320/Lmay01.jpg" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
Card no 2 from Liz's parcel, I wasn't sure about this one but I like it now it's done<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG6aqt94XTzAlk9B0SjijOPJAWxW6ds6v56aEJ_BZ8yTCnHn-WiIlaG1BFnAT_-cX_REHg_GLeY_GW1CHB4SByAfIqzL79fOcZ1Jj-r3U-nEDmw67-w27GDYpwEPelZR6IWtvdVgW76JNz/s1600/Lmay02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="314" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG6aqt94XTzAlk9B0SjijOPJAWxW6ds6v56aEJ_BZ8yTCnHn-WiIlaG1BFnAT_-cX_REHg_GLeY_GW1CHB4SByAfIqzL79fOcZ1Jj-r3U-nEDmw67-w27GDYpwEPelZR6IWtvdVgW76JNz/s320/Lmay02.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So onto Pat's parcel and this time I chose die cutting ......... these 3 are all fairly simple cards but I like them, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Hk5ZJ2xqrpt_0xg9A-LYaqA7C0CXP4Zo3vJtMm5sw5ijqQVepj98nt-S4ahLKTgX6UtYqsHZcui1kIFVxiN7dpMgS1sRFhEtkThcn_2-6XckrDCww1MSPfVuPygxLMPCrtgwmdg_M2CE/s1600/Pmay01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Hk5ZJ2xqrpt_0xg9A-LYaqA7C0CXP4Zo3vJtMm5sw5ijqQVepj98nt-S4ahLKTgX6UtYqsHZcui1kIFVxiN7dpMgS1sRFhEtkThcn_2-6XckrDCww1MSPfVuPygxLMPCrtgwmdg_M2CE/s320/Pmay01.jpg" width="248" /></a></div>
<br />
No.2 a very simple card indeed but I think it came out ok<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9YQY2FWl-qK3CoZAsxMWP8Ewy1w7gi4tItj4M_Ls1DlUxiwxl3Cymvwx0vdVL2dLNI_HoLdHc7lp-XXdV6JSq2MVeJaQ2KIkhhgDnteUHyC7qvooH4br4f8alyNS4NJEX1Jlj-fhbYxcT/s1600/Pmay02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9YQY2FWl-qK3CoZAsxMWP8Ewy1w7gi4tItj4M_Ls1DlUxiwxl3Cymvwx0vdVL2dLNI_HoLdHc7lp-XXdV6JSq2MVeJaQ2KIkhhgDnteUHyC7qvooH4br4f8alyNS4NJEX1Jlj-fhbYxcT/s320/Pmay02.jpg" width="319" /></a></div>
<br />
and no.3 another one for my Christmas stash which is building up nicely<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWoKF8uKBVj83QR2xWtwX-nYGSkdSCkBa8VhaeAnOrgqh2FIo5lJ1ekvaBlidTcZl-OE9aewF_NjrV7DfL1avtGbax10OHc4fp2MXfZrH58nkWFlO25oAGJSQbj2Qv5jcxOgVG0dUYdDKy/s1600/Pmay03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWoKF8uKBVj83QR2xWtwX-nYGSkdSCkBa8VhaeAnOrgqh2FIo5lJ1ekvaBlidTcZl-OE9aewF_NjrV7DfL1avtGbax10OHc4fp2MXfZrH58nkWFlO25oAGJSQbj2Qv5jcxOgVG0dUYdDKy/s320/Pmay03.jpg" width="313" /></a></div>
So there we are, May cards made and blogged just before the month finishes!!<br />
My favourites? .................. the 1st one of Liz's two and the 1st one of Pat's.<br />
<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-66415733384460126342015-04-18T04:30:00.001-07:002015-04-18T04:30:40.858-07:00CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY!!!!!!!!Hello, it's April ............. and we are making Christmas Cards!! Well you have to start early or run out of time, LOL, the months speed along sooooo fast ..... or is that just me getting old?<br />
Anyway, no techniques this month just the theme Christmas.<br />
So here we go, starting with my parcel from Pat ....<br />
<br />
For this one I just wanted to do something a bit different, it was actually the last card I made and the others were all fairly simple so I played around a little more with bits & pieces of paper and came up with this ..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcPHZmT4oP-EjMRjPa2AwK2B4EOCE4FiEgIxnogvpAjae3IbZLqTNGmuoqYPWMpWpjHRwGYcfeNOFhn6C9YqgdpjHmfsNkWbaO3feS37KsJedxdSGz_5wgcc1MShQxzxAEzjOwZ8G7lDXT/s1600/Papr15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcPHZmT4oP-EjMRjPa2AwK2B4EOCE4FiEgIxnogvpAjae3IbZLqTNGmuoqYPWMpWpjHRwGYcfeNOFhn6C9YqgdpjHmfsNkWbaO3feS37KsJedxdSGz_5wgcc1MShQxzxAEzjOwZ8G7lDXT/s1600/Papr15-01.jpg" height="233" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This one was very simple, a stripey background paper and the greetings cut out in a tree shape ......... I did add some little peel off pieces around the tree and a starry snowflake shape on the top just so I felt I'd done a bit more than I did!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm6WREpkhD55ARWLrV7ZvGe63TQ1GFF18v9C75d2ZJAjjsBWgPjDnuA7R7HqT4OEvKrylS0mm0NPcEGVfjMfrNmhHefKy1rVmn8BTlOHeI-SJiM43THHFByfljaegdpqXiS4p4UNSaT2MQ/s1600/Papr15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm6WREpkhD55ARWLrV7ZvGe63TQ1GFF18v9C75d2ZJAjjsBWgPjDnuA7R7HqT4OEvKrylS0mm0NPcEGVfjMfrNmhHefKy1rVmn8BTlOHeI-SJiM43THHFByfljaegdpqXiS4p4UNSaT2MQ/s1600/Papr15-02.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Onto my parcel from Liz then .....<br />
<br />
This turned out to be my favourite this month (although I liked them all), I wasn't sure about it at first but the more I looked at it the more I liked it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ZnEQU7f8Pn0BM8zAx6LE4LxbBTukmaENSN54-WX-AtwvntXWmPERqvh2DHUQXo6gXPTaMTe8PSecir82BWoLhDkHr-Jw9tKgUjXj-hoVKhpNonpbCwehAyzggdKGLtL2SSmExQvzb_WS/s1600/Lapr01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ZnEQU7f8Pn0BM8zAx6LE4LxbBTukmaENSN54-WX-AtwvntXWmPERqvh2DHUQXo6gXPTaMTe8PSecir82BWoLhDkHr-Jw9tKgUjXj-hoVKhpNonpbCwehAyzggdKGLtL2SSmExQvzb_WS/s1600/Lapr01.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Another very simple one, background paper, a picture & a greeting ..... I like it though.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgRM9Z8w886nTOTwl02SlUfIXS9WPtUDWFObhrBozXAFtvIuHZWYYK1gbzjja0sQcXQZTNObEbcBEBpAilC9BTAQWnaq-34bHk4niTFenNvOL7IzsUUJ9qOlgLSlowfFIXV_ubniNld8mM/s1600/Lapr15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgRM9Z8w886nTOTwl02SlUfIXS9WPtUDWFObhrBozXAFtvIuHZWYYK1gbzjja0sQcXQZTNObEbcBEBpAilC9BTAQWnaq-34bHk4niTFenNvOL7IzsUUJ9qOlgLSlowfFIXV_ubniNld8mM/s1600/Lapr15-02.jpg" height="320" width="233" /></a></div>
<br />
I have noticed that each month both Liz & Pat manage to send me at least 1 piece almost the same, this month they both included a stripey piece of paper and a round Robin picture!!<br />
<br />
Now one more card this month which was easier than easy! I used a piece of paper that came from a box of chocolates last Christmas and a greeting ..... that was it!!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0RaF8g4kBy_7VEJjywA_SF809IWnt5arszpmnLAcmyGJgzTsEkVyAZcmtpItIXnJjCQtuHj0IL-IB9Qg6VnGd0PXuJS3WNvBEzrGGVIEliFpLGjlbcAYlP5u_OO2xFFinrwUNI4YhpWT6/s1600/Apr15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0RaF8g4kBy_7VEJjywA_SF809IWnt5arszpmnLAcmyGJgzTsEkVyAZcmtpItIXnJjCQtuHj0IL-IB9Qg6VnGd0PXuJS3WNvBEzrGGVIEliFpLGjlbcAYlP5u_OO2xFFinrwUNI4YhpWT6/s1600/Apr15-01.jpg" height="313" width="320" /></a></div>
So there we are, I've caught up with March and I've done Aprils ............ can't be bad, LOL.<br />
See you next month.<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-18660265237716973982015-04-18T04:15:00.001-07:002015-04-18T04:15:24.236-07:00I'M LATE ..... VERY LATE .....In fact I'm a whole month late!!!! I had a lovely crafting day with Liz in March and made my monthly cards ....... then somehow the month got away from me and suddenly it was April and I still hadn't blogged my March cards!!!! So here I am catching up.<br />
Our techniques to choose from this month were Zentangle (i love Zentangle but haven't yet used it on a card!), Embossing & Rubber Stamping.<br />
I made 2 cards from each parcel so let's get on with the show ... first Pat's parcel, for which I chose embossing as my technique, ...........<br />
<br />
For this one I used a lovely bit of embossed paper Pat had included along with a little picture & greeting also from the parcel.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrfOc4A_dcaqA2-QqADvcWY99oR1muOeYjKdS-EWysBtu6D-SUyoEmttXIVfg5Rg1l0j6pXzWfwWuZQ61X88lRIywH3GKv-5ItyXJnHNm788AR3lbGTWNOeWoAMwN5V1AjqgJv-D8kaEyB/s1600/Pmar15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrfOc4A_dcaqA2-QqADvcWY99oR1muOeYjKdS-EWysBtu6D-SUyoEmttXIVfg5Rg1l0j6pXzWfwWuZQ61X88lRIywH3GKv-5ItyXJnHNm788AR3lbGTWNOeWoAMwN5V1AjqgJv-D8kaEyB/s1600/Pmar15-01.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
Again the background paper was my embossed piece, although it doesn't show very well here.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoHJuuzqy8uXeM_ysBecM1UlZ46PFWCpevr0ybNO2hxE9PzQ3GtYHLsRh45ITshJkjQRq5KHE-XpLnp9YW9Rnbkz__8By7WoE_ppIfpDMHudtbhsso9EaMwXeDnbN0D3pCO-sWiF2HPGQf/s1600/Pmar15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoHJuuzqy8uXeM_ysBecM1UlZ46PFWCpevr0ybNO2hxE9PzQ3GtYHLsRh45ITshJkjQRq5KHE-XpLnp9YW9Rnbkz__8By7WoE_ppIfpDMHudtbhsso9EaMwXeDnbN0D3pCO-sWiF2HPGQf/s1600/Pmar15-02.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
Now onto my parcel from Liz and for this one I chose Rubber stamping.<br />
A very simple card here with a little stamped bird and some lovely spotty paper.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6H6Syr6e9H4ybGqfbQ4-dvwdgp24AokhbEIMtsSt76gwMu1vw9AY3jKeR0qiCaJWsOyKmNJxxnA3hK2eKrOyX3xkrQvmwt9xW98suUiXfnwMRY7RTsXvRYpjROdRo9Vyy1tvBd4pJxaU7/s1600/Lmar15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6H6Syr6e9H4ybGqfbQ4-dvwdgp24AokhbEIMtsSt76gwMu1vw9AY3jKeR0qiCaJWsOyKmNJxxnA3hK2eKrOyX3xkrQvmwt9xW98suUiXfnwMRY7RTsXvRYpjROdRo9Vyy1tvBd4pJxaU7/s1600/Lmar15-01.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
Again a fairly simple card, the flowers were stamped and then cut out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhffHOM8pCn3P-O-HTNr6luzDafK_8MyooHwT8NKTFbKvTVi_Lo6h-94pUI6mX9MeJwQHq9RJ3Fu61sV9wGvEsMtpRCWNKPZZrl-bugjwolpboi0MwElBnWViD1VTv0nOBUhCixQdATQHSN/s1600/Lmar15-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhffHOM8pCn3P-O-HTNr6luzDafK_8MyooHwT8NKTFbKvTVi_Lo6h-94pUI6mX9MeJwQHq9RJ3Fu61sV9wGvEsMtpRCWNKPZZrl-bugjwolpboi0MwElBnWViD1VTv0nOBUhCixQdATQHSN/s1600/Lmar15-02.jpg" height="320" width="229" /></a></div>
<br />
And finally my piece using all three techniques, .... this took me ages to do and eventually I ended up making a little tag, ....... I zentangled the background, cut out the stamped image of the little mice under the flower and used an embossed piece of paper for a frame.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyHFdTGFD5qoRj-uOEjoQBVp_8EsSuhpVNq_Dsf-k9bFqfs_YB_lypuBK5Ix2Yg4m_k9AT2H21MK0pxzr6LzDQI3FGMB3HEBxWZyK9F1mpJWF6PzvCYov_szkcGmmwuJFXjjSSPzJZv8b3/s1600/Mar15-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyHFdTGFD5qoRj-uOEjoQBVp_8EsSuhpVNq_Dsf-k9bFqfs_YB_lypuBK5Ix2Yg4m_k9AT2H21MK0pxzr6LzDQI3FGMB3HEBxWZyK9F1mpJWF6PzvCYov_szkcGmmwuJFXjjSSPzJZv8b3/s1600/Mar15-01.jpg" height="320" width="273" /></a></div>
<br />
So there we are, I have caught up with March .............. now to do Aprils before the months over!!!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-50341796962923792112015-02-27T07:09:00.001-08:002015-02-27T07:09:33.179-08:00FEBRUARY PARCELSWell after a very unexpected short stay in hospital I can now blog my February cards ...... I had them all made and ready when I was struck with a nasty reoccurring chest infection! All is ok now though so let's get on ........... our three technique choices this month were diecutting, matting & layering or peel offs. I had a hard time deciding which of these too use as initially I wanted to use the same one for both parcels, and although that is allowed we did say that we would try to use a different technique on each.<br />
Eventually I made my decisions and here are my cards .....<br />
<br />
<br />
So, first up 2 cards from Liz's parcel using diecutting.<br />
This one used bits from the parcel only, I die cut the "spiky" circle and the image, then used the backing paper which matched with the red.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUQXlanYVf0blzc2XJkLt8RfdKX-v4-fksICOghdQItKDVJhgs8siU9z_NzYHoX7JFaTonsQRyTOThq-RZnf9_zgms21CxlT4BWp0A2_uNhAWS-QAisv-nqnAWxgHt5Lv_Tmq6UOPo2GFc/s1600/Lfeb15+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUQXlanYVf0blzc2XJkLt8RfdKX-v4-fksICOghdQItKDVJhgs8siU9z_NzYHoX7JFaTonsQRyTOThq-RZnf9_zgms21CxlT4BWp0A2_uNhAWS-QAisv-nqnAWxgHt5Lv_Tmq6UOPo2GFc/s1600/Lfeb15+01.jpg" height="320" width="229" /></a></div>
<br />
This one was very similar, again the diecut backing circle & image, the beautiful butterfly paper and the ribbon trim.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEFOXJyfHSmyBh8d7-u3mjH7CHDYMyxrFXatZdKbHoqiJVJOI8fWcAGpgITCAfeyUOY7-iRHIvz4Nq6h7-e3XQ9TXJhmSvyl2DJ4QZlv9P0CBl1IcmeL22V2tKTKxm1Z9iH7q1kBT8TIgT/s1600/Lfeb15+02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEFOXJyfHSmyBh8d7-u3mjH7CHDYMyxrFXatZdKbHoqiJVJOI8fWcAGpgITCAfeyUOY7-iRHIvz4Nq6h7-e3XQ9TXJhmSvyl2DJ4QZlv9P0CBl1IcmeL22V2tKTKxm1Z9iH7q1kBT8TIgT/s1600/Lfeb15+02.jpg" height="229" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So onto my parcel from Pat, and for this one I eventually decided on matting and layering for my technique.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A fairly simple card with the image matted and layered onto a background piece of card then onto the dotty background paper, a piece of ribbon and a little tag to complete.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgUXyUWpn4UN0jc4u_7W-aNOYXnoO5K-VSHEpUocoVRvh77apZMDiwGkmFKnG2montl1QS4ASH1mDVvvtS6lP0fyPNUQogf3xYu6_s_saRe4UnkcOJsiAvk_ZGGNL62eVJ5cHoNjMxOByj/s1600/Pfeb15+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgUXyUWpn4UN0jc4u_7W-aNOYXnoO5K-VSHEpUocoVRvh77apZMDiwGkmFKnG2montl1QS4ASH1mDVvvtS6lP0fyPNUQogf3xYu6_s_saRe4UnkcOJsiAvk_ZGGNL62eVJ5cHoNjMxOByj/s1600/Pfeb15+01.jpg" height="320" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
For this one I used an image of my own that just seemed to go lovely with the paper Pat had included,<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgFsVUQ6Vmgrg2mkIS7jKmR7GpybOcXbiLGGTWb9sPAQ9Bd_6a2R2_9DMsPdoxjTD8dggKV6yV9Af_whNeRbp05sCIntuBZAveMBRlfHi4PGoVXVHKerCyRKewfQVRDwf_SrESETTwgUw/s1600/Pfeb15+02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgFsVUQ6Vmgrg2mkIS7jKmR7GpybOcXbiLGGTWb9sPAQ9Bd_6a2R2_9DMsPdoxjTD8dggKV6yV9Af_whNeRbp05sCIntuBZAveMBRlfHi4PGoVXVHKerCyRKewfQVRDwf_SrESETTwgUw/s1600/Pfeb15+02.jpg" height="320" width="217" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Lastly my card using all three techniques ............. I diecut the circle from the background paper which came from Liz's parcel, used peel offs to decorate the cut out bit along with a little image from Pat's parcel and matted and layered a couple of strips of leftover paper along the bottom as decoration with a little flower as an added touch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXjfDvBPZU2nQFEXKhGU_nUnqy09tyPHU0XFN2OtbViDdn_Pl6eKGXzPK7V5AhFlz6_NQRdfyypLTgOpUoMroyotV88EaQbPq2Mk7-HMAtDtBNrbG953RL0JEWacXjD-1PIE8UX0_s0phw/s1600/feb15+03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXjfDvBPZU2nQFEXKhGU_nUnqy09tyPHU0XFN2OtbViDdn_Pl6eKGXzPK7V5AhFlz6_NQRdfyypLTgOpUoMroyotV88EaQbPq2Mk7-HMAtDtBNrbG953RL0JEWacXjD-1PIE8UX0_s0phw/s1600/feb15+03.jpg" height="320" width="236" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All in all I am pleased with my cards this month especially as I was already suffering the chest infection which eventually laid me so low!!!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This year rather than have a theme each month we decided to choose 3 techniques (one each), the idea being we would use one technique for each parcel. We only have to use 1 item for a parcel and can add our own bits for the rest if we want ........ we also decided that greetings and embellishments did not count for the technique part.<br />
I actually managed to use mainly bits from my parcels .......... not sure if that was good work on my part, or clever choices of bits by Liz & Pat!<br />
Our choice of techniques for January were Punches, Rubber Stamping and Brayering.<br />
So here are my cards, 2 from each parcel ......<br />
<br />
For my parcel from Liz I chose to use Rubber Stamping. Liz had already stamped this image and put in my parcel so along with the 2 backing papers I only had to add a greeting. I did wipe some ink over the image to make it look more sky like.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-CfIiDH1kqyzDY_q0kYkNNUyMarq26ESsdT-a2kmo-Uv7DrlhlNgh7dAteTyVxVDB0AhdkjQuGXKlb78CrchDxcJyMv9xi73_6dStzpGY-2IB02VOiUOE8dYVHdd_cHKYwGhkPCIM74mb/s1600/Ljan1501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-CfIiDH1kqyzDY_q0kYkNNUyMarq26ESsdT-a2kmo-Uv7DrlhlNgh7dAteTyVxVDB0AhdkjQuGXKlb78CrchDxcJyMv9xi73_6dStzpGY-2IB02VOiUOE8dYVHdd_cHKYwGhkPCIM74mb/s1600/Ljan1501.jpg" height="232" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Most of this came from my parcel again, the 2 backing papers, tag & butterfly. I stamped Happy Birthday all over the brown paper and added the dotty bit of ribbon and little gems in the corners.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWZlKGiYsTUpvckZOBxmjaf-HwaalqZkshqnvtx9Lineas0bLrZ2MZhM7Mh9AL1xZBXretC5oUrkL74J0wsFjWFQjXfpkdyeRe3-soXp-i30U4_vA7T7bMPoIIaSUXkqrrOHcRlTqVX3oL/s1600/Ljan1502.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWZlKGiYsTUpvckZOBxmjaf-HwaalqZkshqnvtx9Lineas0bLrZ2MZhM7Mh9AL1xZBXretC5oUrkL74J0wsFjWFQjXfpkdyeRe3-soXp-i30U4_vA7T7bMPoIIaSUXkqrrOHcRlTqVX3oL/s1600/Ljan1502.jpg" height="231" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For Pat's parcel I choose punches. Again most bits came from the parcel. I added the punched border and the greeting. I also used a punch to round corners.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiHWj2AHRQd-UjcNMtRn1N165s8o7iOxdBsDg3JTint-mi4Yma2_jCeq7VgtC-9oW5vlvyYW6RLHDToiYZnJAYfY3Ygjs7NrsDb7V06PFZleEmHvB8yIawISM1LPVaFJ7O_QCgpIVmR7dZ/s1600/Pjan1501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiHWj2AHRQd-UjcNMtRn1N165s8o7iOxdBsDg3JTint-mi4Yma2_jCeq7VgtC-9oW5vlvyYW6RLHDToiYZnJAYfY3Ygjs7NrsDb7V06PFZleEmHvB8yIawISM1LPVaFJ7O_QCgpIVmR7dZ/s1600/Pjan1501.jpg" height="320" width="249" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My second card from Pat's parcel was quite similar to the first. I added the punched border and greeting and the rest came from the parcel. Again I used a punch to round corners as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgypq8IwObVM-kPQTxoGbQxttdceQfZ9HFSEnNujevA8LW4rqKH8ZJ61b7ceRP87o3BiAarXueaaAKl9Oev18-JGkXaeUE8skXrCnuUZJQT4S-HoaR7rRbV7gjJjBVPYIcvpEaa8SOvG6tr/s1600/Pjan1502.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgypq8IwObVM-kPQTxoGbQxttdceQfZ9HFSEnNujevA8LW4rqKH8ZJ61b7ceRP87o3BiAarXueaaAKl9Oev18-JGkXaeUE8skXrCnuUZJQT4S-HoaR7rRbV7gjJjBVPYIcvpEaa8SOvG6tr/s1600/Pjan1502.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After we had made our cards Liz and I sat chatting about them and ended up challenging each other to make a card using all 3 techniques!! Here is what I came up ..........I used my brayer to add some blue ink to a piece of paper from Pat's parcel, and was pleased with how that came out. I then rubber stamped the images on and was again pleased as I am not good at stamping! Then I took a left over little piece of green card from Liz's parcel, shape the corners with a corner punch and added a greeting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBvJeyT2s21ZEdQ8_OlYOXNiVwydV4fnRP8lzJkC-DDlNAktrMe8pBCQxUQfAB9VUl4dN5FUK8mpenUzhd0yLuYzDmjkIZ20EtBqeXacu4xOestEntjBNMbHQSz2TWFDas2sceyNUC7Gst/s1600/janchallenge1501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBvJeyT2s21ZEdQ8_OlYOXNiVwydV4fnRP8lzJkC-DDlNAktrMe8pBCQxUQfAB9VUl4dN5FUK8mpenUzhd0yLuYzDmjkIZ20EtBqeXacu4xOestEntjBNMbHQSz2TWFDas2sceyNUC7Gst/s1600/janchallenge1501.jpg" height="320" width="238" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I like this one ................. well I like them all which is a surprise.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Looking forward to February now.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-5658961461218507742014-11-24T06:58:00.001-08:002014-11-24T06:58:24.115-08:00NOVEMBER'S CHALLENGE!!Well for November Pat very nicely chose the theme "Earth, Fire, Wind & Water" ........ doesn't sound too difficult does it? HaHa, I don't think any of us found it as easy as we expected! Both my parcels contained lots of lovely bits and pieces as always but, unlike some months where pieces almost shout at me to put them together, this month nothing was even whispering!! Just a ghostly silence as I perused what I'd been given ............ and I needed to make at least 4 cards from each parcel. For the first time I felt failure creeping in, but I don't give up easily and slowly 1 card emerged, then another, then (with the aid of a few images from my stash) I had my cards, 4 from Pat's parcel & 5 from Liz's.<br />
So here they are, Pat's first .........<br />
<br />
This one is obviously "wind", the cloudy background and the hot-air balloons made me think of the wind pushing them around the sky.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG1nMDrJwY9g9XT2_JeNekDo2DT1TheHGf9LjcK7wdGaXsi_kUrewDvJfj8a9GnLUnDYFESnP8BrrCLqVjEKFvFOKsgfZ6rd0qo3Kg9yYTV8I9PFvBHeMrEA5es4nhI1TI9_nmnqErcvxK/s1600/Pdec01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG1nMDrJwY9g9XT2_JeNekDo2DT1TheHGf9LjcK7wdGaXsi_kUrewDvJfj8a9GnLUnDYFESnP8BrrCLqVjEKFvFOKsgfZ6rd0qo3Kg9yYTV8I9PFvBHeMrEA5es4nhI1TI9_nmnqErcvxK/s1600/Pdec01.jpg" height="320" width="222" /></a></div>
<br />
I did think this was cheating a little but as Pat had included the words it just had to be "Earth"<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg99vPjmSm-tbi0mXMKt446nU-zY8o2Y-cWrl_uKVd5eXAgdggrPxZJWG4sAgo9gBtKCDcYVSIgKHUavbcu9_vStp2zF8jwtxzbv5ymNECrmnUbSXAdVZ5t04zvxo36Qh4us6y2lrzUCTej/s1600/Pdec02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg99vPjmSm-tbi0mXMKt446nU-zY8o2Y-cWrl_uKVd5eXAgdggrPxZJWG4sAgo9gBtKCDcYVSIgKHUavbcu9_vStp2zF8jwtxzbv5ymNECrmnUbSXAdVZ5t04zvxo36Qh4us6y2lrzUCTej/s1600/Pdec02.jpg" height="318" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
"Fire" .... my own image on this one, a lovely log fire<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj41R5LYvEJh4WxKlEGA0YjzjyImh77com17NCjcOEIEcm-9_XC0UdjoxhRo8XYXI-LjGSGLnEYpIqsOeCcwttniWKqcP9iQrlpMGIEKV5vMowm-vXx_qnXdje2lE5SyMsn9nU4Kd1VbxhC/s1600/Pdec03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj41R5LYvEJh4WxKlEGA0YjzjyImh77com17NCjcOEIEcm-9_XC0UdjoxhRo8XYXI-LjGSGLnEYpIqsOeCcwttniWKqcP9iQrlpMGIEKV5vMowm-vXx_qnXdje2lE5SyMsn9nU4Kd1VbxhC/s1600/Pdec03.jpg" height="320" width="224" /></a></div>
<br />
And finally "Water",<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyW2m3YROBxb2_2Fpj97H8mdosq5ZWvwgZRCwfFU2b_d6vjRq0YwIeQwFdeyKuIUOdlqw_1t1HU6n_BL2CJ4_D3pwLxpTMLwj5cqeM7mM3WjYDB9YmJ8NEofoPEVmKCQAZEsNT1C1jWqIk/s1600/Pdec04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyW2m3YROBxb2_2Fpj97H8mdosq5ZWvwgZRCwfFU2b_d6vjRq0YwIeQwFdeyKuIUOdlqw_1t1HU6n_BL2CJ4_D3pwLxpTMLwj5cqeM7mM3WjYDB9YmJ8NEofoPEVmKCQAZEsNT1C1jWqIk/s1600/Pdec04.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I was pleased with those 4, ......... now onto the cards from Liz's parcel ..........</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly we have "Wind" .......... you need a nice windy day to fly a kite</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0lR_osAe2QQGRIxv0FPS59B5QkVDRiRGdbJhaWQ6W25M8txBo1T5X9aYnYGVgTvqUPdwGuH9VJPS-7XF5pfkS-3B-P6bRw9fqA8P5Mo8Yb7K2qqfFER6tpYeL8DDybHsDobMsZeTMTUoD/s1600/Ldec01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0lR_osAe2QQGRIxv0FPS59B5QkVDRiRGdbJhaWQ6W25M8txBo1T5X9aYnYGVgTvqUPdwGuH9VJPS-7XF5pfkS-3B-P6bRw9fqA8P5Mo8Yb7K2qqfFER6tpYeL8DDybHsDobMsZeTMTUoD/s1600/Ldec01.jpg" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
Secondly we have "Fire" ............. slight artistic licence maybe but candles have flames and flames equal fire!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWf_HpiFS2j7kxDGT4_xsCYh76RKPYerx5Jd3RWbBry2aYyjeujaPrfhDrDCY972tOOd79Zzsvuo8haN0rrvuI8mq8LMpZ2Miq1UXmxWilztT_btgIbtFtmMom1y8YME_MEYXriLiXiwI0/s1600/Ldec02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWf_HpiFS2j7kxDGT4_xsCYh76RKPYerx5Jd3RWbBry2aYyjeujaPrfhDrDCY972tOOd79Zzsvuo8haN0rrvuI8mq8LMpZ2Miq1UXmxWilztT_btgIbtFtmMom1y8YME_MEYXriLiXiwI0/s1600/Ldec02.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
The another "Fire" one<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh89sPPToAim8I5hnHBbCVLE_tk-VlUsUSiaw61V7bysGihWzNEbMIXU9zvLwLgtOXtkKezSpEQOwNx2YV3ZN_0aFwNwSCvuhe3E826EOBZmdURGcxn8mmvKr1b0jZwiIhZBurBoBNvAokZ/s1600/Ldec03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh89sPPToAim8I5hnHBbCVLE_tk-VlUsUSiaw61V7bysGihWzNEbMIXU9zvLwLgtOXtkKezSpEQOwNx2YV3ZN_0aFwNwSCvuhe3E826EOBZmdURGcxn8mmvKr1b0jZwiIhZBurBoBNvAokZ/s1600/Ldec03.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
Onto "Earth" ........ I loved this picture Liz included and it didn't need much to turn it into a lovely (IMO) card<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2hVrd0GvMS4kO-3fAmQ4CTAxGsXrx1nhINHosF0detqnllUQuzzWkiJVkiihib0W4hz0xgjxDXG3x0Huz4SYy2J7PbIk-zqbtRsW7DTjKbEp-_YRawzvHCCtoXzi0lGGu-xZi2c6DFoR/s1600/Ldec04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2hVrd0GvMS4kO-3fAmQ4CTAxGsXrx1nhINHosF0detqnllUQuzzWkiJVkiihib0W4hz0xgjxDXG3x0Huz4SYy2J7PbIk-zqbtRsW7DTjKbEp-_YRawzvHCCtoXzi0lGGu-xZi2c6DFoR/s1600/Ldec04.jpg" height="320" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
And lastly "Water" ........ you can't sail your boat without it<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhod1r5q0appFfEuh_l5KVfYXki73KMTuQhz-itvj9WKawHPCqn89jRxIflGyjjW6XOp-yKA6XWOYBlTX4cuzcygrHRJ69h_d39w6LZqsQhsL_Cpi2sm0DC4XaiIW5Wd75VG_AOjBWTsAxS/s1600/Ldec05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhod1r5q0appFfEuh_l5KVfYXki73KMTuQhz-itvj9WKawHPCqn89jRxIflGyjjW6XOp-yKA6XWOYBlTX4cuzcygrHRJ69h_d39w6LZqsQhsL_Cpi2sm0DC4XaiIW5Wd75VG_AOjBWTsAxS/s1600/Ldec05.jpg" height="320" width="226" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So that's November done and another year of monthly challenges completed, I've complained at times, despaired frequently ......... and thoroughly enjoyed every one of those challenges and now look forward to next years.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But .......... first there is something I look forward to maybe a little more, Decembers advent parcels! My inner child comes out when I wake on the 1st and realise it's time to start opening those little parcels .......... I love it!!!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-54586021242908533792014-10-31T10:28:00.000-07:002014-10-31T10:28:08.859-07:00I MADE IT ......... JUST!!!!!!Phew!! I was almost late with my October cards but I made it by the skin of my teeth. This month the theme was "Spots" ............ by the time I finished I was seeing spots before my eyes! My parcels contained soooooo many beautiful spotty papers I didn't know where to start. Eventually I made 3 cards from each parcel ......... so let's start with the results of my parcel from Pat, .........<br />
<br />
I really wasn't sure where I was going with this one, I wanted to use at least 1 of the lovely spotty circles Pat included ........ I realised it would fit the centre of a small doily and went from there. I puzzled over the topper for a while though but eventually I found this flower one that fitted the circle nice and went with the colours.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPvVYGkyaExaCJtFgEsJIIGb4ssmEgSZAd3VVFcTG3ly38al5LVosL9FhQZurT_Jequu3GwBSbNRQLHliHdfQXW4D3ObdfL_MUV0-7uWWI3qV5Wmj2bGnbPBT_qFK2To-2vj3vyYzEm6Wk/s1600/Pnov01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPvVYGkyaExaCJtFgEsJIIGb4ssmEgSZAd3VVFcTG3ly38al5LVosL9FhQZurT_Jequu3GwBSbNRQLHliHdfQXW4D3ObdfL_MUV0-7uWWI3qV5Wmj2bGnbPBT_qFK2To-2vj3vyYzEm6Wk/s1600/Pnov01.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
I like this one ......... and not just because it's red!!! It's bright and cheerful<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkcpzWxU2R2hRt_m-78hOpueCNPvna-eYYZYGmEjJDb8tgTI-F3mXCko3bA9CPm6oBc5dJYm8u7D8DcN2-lr8AnQQ5qBdqJLtJDar2vGj8AVdj2GRjQyx3oS4GYn6sQ2_r8MSJ5z2pmnrv/s1600/Pnov02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkcpzWxU2R2hRt_m-78hOpueCNPvna-eYYZYGmEjJDb8tgTI-F3mXCko3bA9CPm6oBc5dJYm8u7D8DcN2-lr8AnQQ5qBdqJLtJDar2vGj8AVdj2GRjQyx3oS4GYn6sQ2_r8MSJ5z2pmnrv/s1600/Pnov02.jpg" height="320" width="226" /></a></div>
<br />
Very similar to the one above but I think I used all the inspiration I had on the first one, LOL<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ6QACu5aFCiAJ8J90onfqx_SAjQmns1Ysp0p4MORV4Xz6ETI2HnkpEWcfvhe5yn228sdvVV1E8nwYBnyUfAjG0tX2q15arAbLamwE5I6-jnYWClVfUgUn-mDEw8YfMsHAmTvPkaQXlEB0/s1600/Pnov03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ6QACu5aFCiAJ8J90onfqx_SAjQmns1Ysp0p4MORV4Xz6ETI2HnkpEWcfvhe5yn228sdvVV1E8nwYBnyUfAjG0tX2q15arAbLamwE5I6-jnYWClVfUgUn-mDEw8YfMsHAmTvPkaQXlEB0/s1600/Pnov03.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
So onto my parcel from Liz ...........<br />
<br />
All fairly straightforward here, this one didn't scan well for some reason. I put the topper and layered card to the side just for a bit of difference. The topper was from my own stash as it was all I could find that matched!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvSjfRghI7L47K-hWPOMX6JDpQVTi_WhJ1hcrJ__HX9P2QNfJkFW6VrniJhyphenhyphenfD0FpCOIkGpPF6Z6wbuG415M_lq5kEcCCfPW-8Rkq0oOftEc2pWpOa2FuAlcF812cSaMJ_e9kKiGRIZPx3/s1600/Lnov01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvSjfRghI7L47K-hWPOMX6JDpQVTi_WhJ1hcrJ__HX9P2QNfJkFW6VrniJhyphenhyphenfD0FpCOIkGpPF6Z6wbuG415M_lq5kEcCCfPW-8Rkq0oOftEc2pWpOa2FuAlcF812cSaMJ_e9kKiGRIZPx3/s1600/Lnov01.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I like this one, very simple and quick to make. I used my own flowers on it again.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhTX_i8uEUFAOqKb0fpbtoB72l7sBxR-H8rySO_pT-cYjFThfa3podFuQYlFLJJU1p-pA7Pk06eDLuxNfVdHC6rpFxU0B6v5oxK847KsG3j3zKC8BBkdf9zFVBNiztSVhIeTeHx1WePR1q/s1600/Lnov02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhTX_i8uEUFAOqKb0fpbtoB72l7sBxR-H8rySO_pT-cYjFThfa3podFuQYlFLJJU1p-pA7Pk06eDLuxNfVdHC6rpFxU0B6v5oxK847KsG3j3zKC8BBkdf9zFVBNiztSVhIeTeHx1WePR1q/s1600/Lnov02.jpg" height="320" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Another very quick & easy one, but probably my favourite of the lot.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD4e4MjtDv1TfNp6s6TSHk6z_PapogD1WtMQlC6-pFIIWsBP5B4Fhc4ncQlwZglOau6cHhCTdJjMFfZVNnb9yIqj1yi_fk4-yOsEqQqu1QymQbWJOqzITfTwCA_OxUDpu6JnQ5hx_ZC-93/s1600/Lnov03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD4e4MjtDv1TfNp6s6TSHk6z_PapogD1WtMQlC6-pFIIWsBP5B4Fhc4ncQlwZglOau6cHhCTdJjMFfZVNnb9yIqj1yi_fk4-yOsEqQqu1QymQbWJOqzITfTwCA_OxUDpu6JnQ5hx_ZC-93/s1600/Lnov03.jpg" height="320" width="235" /></a></div>
<br />
So that's the October cards ................ bring on Novembers!!!<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-16084074651212173362014-09-19T03:31:00.001-07:002014-09-19T03:31:30.832-07:00SEPTEMBER CARDSAnother month almost gone ............ how do they go so fast? This months theme for the parcels was "Strippety Stripes", and what a lovely lot of stripey papers I got in my parcels! The choice was almost too much but eventually I picked my bits and made 2 cards from Liz's parcel & 3 from Pat's ............... and I have so much stuff left to use at another time too!<br />
So here we go, first the cards from Liz's parcel ...............<br />
<br />
A fairly simple card, as usual I'm not really happy with my colouring of the picture but I quite like the card<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwGgZXwZ6wyeEHveDwzos3z1DzvN0ZbjXElhP7NEnCkjSlEcD9FmwQFbiYpt7PA2qLjNQVg5wN6XpI4kAqM2ACA54XkjPNWSQHjgXC3aq_2EIGxjDeoPeWOiK_Ub3ozogSnt-OVXJM8cxm/s1600/Lsep01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwGgZXwZ6wyeEHveDwzos3z1DzvN0ZbjXElhP7NEnCkjSlEcD9FmwQFbiYpt7PA2qLjNQVg5wN6XpI4kAqM2ACA54XkjPNWSQHjgXC3aq_2EIGxjDeoPeWOiK_Ub3ozogSnt-OVXJM8cxm/s1600/Lsep01.jpg" height="320" width="224" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Another quite simple card but the rather busy paper didn't seem to need anything else<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhInoI8YryBzb83d3f6vqjUUMbPKKhqTotmyhlsEf0B3WhLnP_WS51aL6xbUGSSUpdAerVJXmPxqCURAiR8qCibWc-Jx03Lj6Ka0w9LNOqhcedN2GxwcNqCZ8nyj5KU9mUYpF-ovJh_F0NZ/s1600/Lsep02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhInoI8YryBzb83d3f6vqjUUMbPKKhqTotmyhlsEf0B3WhLnP_WS51aL6xbUGSSUpdAerVJXmPxqCURAiR8qCibWc-Jx03Lj6Ka0w9LNOqhcedN2GxwcNqCZ8nyj5KU9mUYpF-ovJh_F0NZ/s1600/Lsep02.jpg" height="320" width="238" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
.... and another simple card!!! Pat had included this rather large "celebrate" which, once placed on a darker backing, fitted exactly across the card. The stripey paper matched the colour too and seemed to be all that was needed</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5BgoJVcNESDu_24KoLpP86pBstmD_Yp5Y-jO-eMw7tIkDi-IeebZNfB_skZ2-RaTKi-_gqrkqugaK_aTleYroHC1ab99oRhxgiEzZjXqC2yrWG_Gq6rhZKf5tB7rS5FLPCQvzH6X03jrA/s1600/Psep01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5BgoJVcNESDu_24KoLpP86pBstmD_Yp5Y-jO-eMw7tIkDi-IeebZNfB_skZ2-RaTKi-_gqrkqugaK_aTleYroHC1ab99oRhxgiEzZjXqC2yrWG_Gq6rhZKf5tB7rS5FLPCQvzH6X03jrA/s1600/Psep01.jpg" height="225" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This one I did have a little fun with. The backing paper was a sheet with just diagonal stripes but as Pat had included 2 sheets I was able to use half of each one and turning one round make an arrow shape of the stripes. A little tag on a nestie shape and that was that<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy2PpMhRqps75YVMD4sVohP-g9kyWDZC_PWBRCjG0RE9YocKoHkKm6kFNYeGWwNg1K7kS2-6L06O6TS59GU4SJ6t-0C5-1ZCkdEZXLmqBOeNeAp1OBO19oTCOj2tk8KJNp0GzXMBgMQkyn/s1600/Psep02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy2PpMhRqps75YVMD4sVohP-g9kyWDZC_PWBRCjG0RE9YocKoHkKm6kFNYeGWwNg1K7kS2-6L06O6TS59GU4SJ6t-0C5-1ZCkdEZXLmqBOeNeAp1OBO19oTCOj2tk8KJNp0GzXMBgMQkyn/s1600/Psep02.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
Again fairly simple ....... but I like it!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinGRjKD0sCUfsGa91nNX0HwGOvfGepmSRtMG9931yD8aIACYjHnOXSEdOLTbI1nlveg2_8ceUo2m3H3LSwPxtESr1FV8kfb9vVHuK7g5pHgqiKgtOz3CvDqf9p1xKf87OVAtsEgIhYX1pl/s1600/Psep03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinGRjKD0sCUfsGa91nNX0HwGOvfGepmSRtMG9931yD8aIACYjHnOXSEdOLTbI1nlveg2_8ceUo2m3H3LSwPxtESr1FV8kfb9vVHuK7g5pHgqiKgtOz3CvDqf9p1xKf87OVAtsEgIhYX1pl/s1600/Psep03.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
So another months cards done, I was pleased with them all and now looking forward to next month!<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-4932099731856130672014-08-30T03:11:00.001-07:002014-08-30T03:11:39.600-07:00AUGUST PARCELSThe theme this month was "Swap the Swaps" where we send a selection of bits we haven't been able to use from the previous months parcels ................ surprising sometimes how different things look second time around.<br />
I only managed 2 cards from each parcel, not because of what I was sent but because of time ....... I know I can get more from the bits I have left in the future.<br />
So here is what I did do ............<br />
<br />
First one from Liz's parcel, a nice Christmas card to add to my stash<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjymL_xiuK3-xBkKFcEE3Nnr1zyo0S-cEVd3Ch9KVSzi98oZYIPqsk_FAgY8mFxTko6o5e-fCmLZyTRVlFTdLDi9k-y9szVBmOpIygKFmVelT-KwMpp1Avl6XVKWUOO7hJqHM6Yu7Ivwea-/s1600/Laug01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjymL_xiuK3-xBkKFcEE3Nnr1zyo0S-cEVd3Ch9KVSzi98oZYIPqsk_FAgY8mFxTko6o5e-fCmLZyTRVlFTdLDi9k-y9szVBmOpIygKFmVelT-KwMpp1Avl6XVKWUOO7hJqHM6Yu7Ivwea-/s1600/Laug01.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Second from Liz's parcel another Christmas card, it wasn't a conscious choice to make 2 Christmas cards just the way it turned out. This one gave me a lot of problems as I couldn't decide on white or coloured background! Eventually I found a piece of paper in my stash that seemed to fit and used that<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglZACGTmPvydI_Q_ynriuxl6IXHpJKXa2lQZco09zzotopC7ih_4-beVX74mVUruq28mj93bUXrGgTvfgtkxxxOnTnNEgD6hUUm2gGEKLifdGgr13-VuEI9tOWUsCaHShrpGj0500M9RF-/s1600/Laug02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglZACGTmPvydI_Q_ynriuxl6IXHpJKXa2lQZco09zzotopC7ih_4-beVX74mVUruq28mj93bUXrGgTvfgtkxxxOnTnNEgD6hUUm2gGEKLifdGgr13-VuEI9tOWUsCaHShrpGj0500M9RF-/s1600/Laug02.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now 2 from Pat's parcel .......... first a cute little cat, a very simple card as Pat had included the lovely embossed backing paper, so I didn't have to do much</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3QrHnnszPGLCrQkzghhiIKrkDSn1eCEAln1Jo7DD75AFDpJXrmpKpiKeXNlofTRdwrBFoLlzYpS_57Hdy42Xf9WwemzMnZAfK976eMo8Qn-goZS1VrARthQGRnW_gPp2dsiJw0scUZnlw/s1600/PAug01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3QrHnnszPGLCrQkzghhiIKrkDSn1eCEAln1Jo7DD75AFDpJXrmpKpiKeXNlofTRdwrBFoLlzYpS_57Hdy42Xf9WwemzMnZAfK976eMo8Qn-goZS1VrARthQGRnW_gPp2dsiJw0scUZnlw/s1600/PAug01.jpg" height="320" width="229" /></a></div>
<br />
and secondly a pretty flower card, again very simple<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfsJMk0pbOlLPea0e_I7jHPllZcjU5am5mmzOjLAp7RL2lev_jIKHJYfLlMMOLimEEcZRLoowNwfuH69sFqLyVuYXAVxdnKMxQ-3HQmpTjfLieXIQ2hjKPiTwrVTbeLeVHRJ1GqMr1DJ2P/s1600/Paug02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfsJMk0pbOlLPea0e_I7jHPllZcjU5am5mmzOjLAp7RL2lev_jIKHJYfLlMMOLimEEcZRLoowNwfuH69sFqLyVuYXAVxdnKMxQ-3HQmpTjfLieXIQ2hjKPiTwrVTbeLeVHRJ1GqMr1DJ2P/s1600/Paug02.jpg" height="320" width="230" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So that is my efforts for August, I'm quite happy with them .......... now to look forward to September</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-3091089887703214612014-07-19T08:38:00.001-07:002014-07-19T08:38:40.396-07:00JULY CARDSLook at this .......... it's not the last day of the month yet here I am with my cards made & ready to blog, think the sunshine has gone to my head, LOL.<br />
This months theme was sport and I've made 2 cards from Liz's parcel & 3 from Pat's. I could have made more with all the lovely bits I was given by both Liz and Pat but I don't need them at the moment so I'm saving the bits for now. All the cards are fairly simple because I'm still searching for some inspiration!<br />
<br />
<br />
So these first 2 are from Liz's parcel ............ this is my least favourite of the lot! I like the picture but it just didn't turn out how I wanted it to really.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3BbrJ7jhRvC3bGvPOvLu1onnknfenYf5TRpROyPhpUYNqhpeZYoWJ-3v8hB6E2y6nHIyM1kd9QLhLRH_ZXwU6tfHAZc9UmwxXexi6JuPS3NDrNeUdVGUV8HzG2UiJvLDrz1SUanpimAwe/s1600/Ljuly02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3BbrJ7jhRvC3bGvPOvLu1onnknfenYf5TRpROyPhpUYNqhpeZYoWJ-3v8hB6E2y6nHIyM1kd9QLhLRH_ZXwU6tfHAZc9UmwxXexi6JuPS3NDrNeUdVGUV8HzG2UiJvLDrz1SUanpimAwe/s1600/Ljuly02.jpg" height="312" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The 2nd one from Liz's parcel, I like this a lot more now it's done than when I was making it, I wasn't too sure about it then.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6hnj54FK-QBkVlk23FDPSIuUW6HTcYTtQQgCQ3VC_bkCmkI27Edo9klFWVjKvIzExbACqORspVZ4kbYASrQgo6vtG0_IuaHlaSNlig2JvK7X5KKagBv3AFEdKiL84ck-ruNrLrZWfPCqB/s1600/Ljuly01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6hnj54FK-QBkVlk23FDPSIuUW6HTcYTtQQgCQ3VC_bkCmkI27Edo9klFWVjKvIzExbACqORspVZ4kbYASrQgo6vtG0_IuaHlaSNlig2JvK7X5KKagBv3AFEdKiL84ck-ruNrLrZWfPCqB/s1600/Ljuly01.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These 3 are from Pat's parcel ............... I liked my colouring on this one, I only used coloured pencils as I didn't want it too bright at all. I love the picture so I'm glad I managed not to spoil it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6IFJDpUcHxIf6mrL_4oWXoQ9zwrhlb7ophJi6h_LRY7-ETkBy6P09FjXXyaaPiWA5boWQfHshvNjSI8y2b4tRmTspu7g8MHHGmlfAAfSjvPPAhK9wnI1gRkCdvaogVSKDzjofCVUHofDy/s1600/Pjuly01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6IFJDpUcHxIf6mrL_4oWXoQ9zwrhlb7ophJi6h_LRY7-ETkBy6P09FjXXyaaPiWA5boWQfHshvNjSI8y2b4tRmTspu7g8MHHGmlfAAfSjvPPAhK9wnI1gRkCdvaogVSKDzjofCVUHofDy/s1600/Pjuly01.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
The 2nd from Pat's parcel and again I was fairly happy with my colouring. I liked the blue background paper as it looks a bit like water and went well with the fishing pic.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGsATSc__QKg4HR_7sB_3IOI4fJP_Oaq3fp6OZD3-q_YrRx2l9kAGeJay4QiGZo8d2_o2gO1JJYEpjPT7D8a47OT0CTfZSpvdLkLCug61Ixz-JQYwqZ1PZ4FUvtRizwwMVvrBI2JNO-xs9/s1600/Pjuly02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGsATSc__QKg4HR_7sB_3IOI4fJP_Oaq3fp6OZD3-q_YrRx2l9kAGeJay4QiGZo8d2_o2gO1JJYEpjPT7D8a47OT0CTfZSpvdLkLCug61Ixz-JQYwqZ1PZ4FUvtRizwwMVvrBI2JNO-xs9/s1600/Pjuly02.jpg" height="224" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And my last from Pat's parcel ......... a very simple card, a lovely background paper that made me think of grass and a cute little bicycle topper and a greeting ........ even I couldn't go wrong, LOL<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjposjpT1ka1EVubAxKXv_ZAcoofV5rv2fDpLSOjrTEjzXQgm34bXM_r-5QHYbX4beZPe01MehEED3erBrJj7gKbLAgm0_S_mQNlbs2KkoiEm6q-jaJmXZMDhBepPGKCHW3JkmT-gwyvUI0/s1600/Pjuly03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjposjpT1ka1EVubAxKXv_ZAcoofV5rv2fDpLSOjrTEjzXQgm34bXM_r-5QHYbX4beZPe01MehEED3erBrJj7gKbLAgm0_S_mQNlbs2KkoiEm6q-jaJmXZMDhBepPGKCHW3JkmT-gwyvUI0/s1600/Pjuly03.jpg" height="222" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So there we are, Julys cards all done, although I may yet make some more, I don't know.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-63161969975729009992014-06-28T04:39:00.000-07:002014-06-28T04:39:13.530-07:00JUNE CARDS .......... FINALLY!!Well I've just managed to get my June cards here before the end of the month. I have really struggled for some reason. The theme was "Animals" and when I first looked at my parcels I thought "yes, I can work with these", BUT when I came to put things together it was a different story!<br />
Both parcels contained (as usual) some lovely bits and a nice variety of things but all inspiration had left me and, despite liking the bits and pieces, somehow they suddenly seemed to have a mind of their own and, and with no inspiration, nothing seemed quite right!!!<br />
Eventually I managed to make 2 cards from each parcel, all fairly plain & simple. Hopefully by next month I'll have found some inspiration from somewhere and will be able to do my parcels justice .......... I don't think I did this month, sorry Liz & Pat.<br />
<br />
These first 2 came from the parcel from Liz. I don't much like the brown backing on this now even though it seemed ok when I made it!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiulPMY8P1_PoLq56-IVUnJgjw4IN2HJrMe2Lg5QdpdCI3dvv48EWlPD_uvkp-f8KL0yBR7nlxLs-tQZ3tOf9-A7mvmAfMMP5mStAkQU-qqNsFrW9i52rnVRaVLguNLZ7wFy-sKeZ6afFrz/s1600/Ljune01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiulPMY8P1_PoLq56-IVUnJgjw4IN2HJrMe2Lg5QdpdCI3dvv48EWlPD_uvkp-f8KL0yBR7nlxLs-tQZ3tOf9-A7mvmAfMMP5mStAkQU-qqNsFrW9i52rnVRaVLguNLZ7wFy-sKeZ6afFrz/s1600/Ljune01.jpg" height="320" width="235" /></a></div>
<br />
I do quite like this one, I added some peel off edging and gems to give it a bit more but a very simple card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXeMgM8hxJ_bVsnRDqjeXO-icitgK47vH9c88kh_pwrNyb3dhqQ82lVBoifBJXB5wi6Doyd7pebPNuA1OKv_H_Q6u3VIRpVCTD4UE4-uBF5xpkSm0VJ8FgoY5N4hYerJ39pMFYXYr5SdTr/s1600/Ljune02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXeMgM8hxJ_bVsnRDqjeXO-icitgK47vH9c88kh_pwrNyb3dhqQ82lVBoifBJXB5wi6Doyd7pebPNuA1OKv_H_Q6u3VIRpVCTD4UE4-uBF5xpkSm0VJ8FgoY5N4hYerJ39pMFYXYr5SdTr/s1600/Ljune02.jpg" height="320" width="225" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The next 2 are from Pat's parcel.<br />
I had no idea where this one was going! I was fairly happy with my colouring although as always it could have been better!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje_Eh96NyO-OpqRwLZV1yealjPpr1CzCB_9lDvjY8-Tzd0COX6CkmBLHxhR9Jr-gcmhEcI2XIBj-LHogiSgv2p8SkU7TZwz6LYKqVVomS-ktMqEh-6ekLT0vXSMVvS3IyP8SSTMZYG-Ix9/s1600/Pjune01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje_Eh96NyO-OpqRwLZV1yealjPpr1CzCB_9lDvjY8-Tzd0COX6CkmBLHxhR9Jr-gcmhEcI2XIBj-LHogiSgv2p8SkU7TZwz6LYKqVVomS-ktMqEh-6ekLT0vXSMVvS3IyP8SSTMZYG-Ix9/s1600/Pjune01.jpg" height="320" width="236" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I loved this Hippo pic, it's so cute and I wanted to use it but it really didn't need much added to it, so I cut it into a circle that was slightly bigger than the card, then trimmed the edges, just to give a little bit different shape, and added some gems and a greeting.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbsz1U-Q-ORyrTbLo1KHR1F8H7Th77a5zN6VlTaba9xVd5VckT09pUJwSyiivpAL3-lsfjZTnWlsFC3hTnA_WSY1sL8Tt_Q9aeYTEoXCKEIfYjPKrpaWEsLXEY7_HDWvTaeD7XbKbPeRWC/s1600/Pjune02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbsz1U-Q-ORyrTbLo1KHR1F8H7Th77a5zN6VlTaba9xVd5VckT09pUJwSyiivpAL3-lsfjZTnWlsFC3hTnA_WSY1sL8Tt_Q9aeYTEoXCKEIfYjPKrpaWEsLXEY7_HDWvTaeD7XbKbPeRWC/s1600/Pjune02.jpg" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
So there we are, my cards for June, ............... I did my best, LOL<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-7417475349920738902014-05-30T08:31:00.001-07:002014-05-30T08:31:45.341-07:00MAY PARCELSOoooops!!! Only just in time to get this done before the end of the month!! Where does the time go? One minute I've got ages and the next I'm late!<br />
Never mind, I'm here now and ready to show you the cards I made from my May parcels. The theme was mine and I chose "busy patterns" ........ in other words all those bright, colourful, busy papers that we tend to push to the back of the drawer because we're just not sure what to do with them. When it came to making the cards I half wished I'd picked something easier, LOL, but not one to shirk a challenge I set to and eventually made 3 cards from Pat's parcel & 4 from Liz's, so, without further ado, here they are ....<br />
<br />
Firstly the cards from Pat's parcel ....<br />
This one I used a frame Pat had included and a piece of a very busy paper behind it, a strip from another piece of paper went behind it and 4 small blue dots at the corners, I then added the little fairy to the corner<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXGQ2q4d1yZBNnV5_gz0EqwFyYg-JoDXjIBrZ-VLkQsFOlw-0PSsXkOqIaG8jf7PreZI124wdMMybuAJd7M-88KMA4RENch1dnQRULweNDGNiBw_mx7L4qnKiQW4m_WRc9u1XZPuHqBOM0/s1600/Pmay01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXGQ2q4d1yZBNnV5_gz0EqwFyYg-JoDXjIBrZ-VLkQsFOlw-0PSsXkOqIaG8jf7PreZI124wdMMybuAJd7M-88KMA4RENch1dnQRULweNDGNiBw_mx7L4qnKiQW4m_WRc9u1XZPuHqBOM0/s1600/Pmay01.jpg" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<br />
This really was a busy piece of paper, nice but so much going on ............ in the end I chose to use a black & white picture Pat had included, which I placed onto a piece of purple paper leaving a very narrow edge, on top of it<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7xRPvzLYeJAp2enu5cPt7F8177IiDnvhfnJzDb1XE6F1B0fIIBHjp9NmTqYn7l9wOHi_FqnPxDhOWPBxThEeB7Q9w39opAHtr3VtyfJunijXst62-37zh3UWDbGAM03Z_xpJfiiSFQ7ya/s1600/Pmay02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7xRPvzLYeJAp2enu5cPt7F8177IiDnvhfnJzDb1XE6F1B0fIIBHjp9NmTqYn7l9wOHi_FqnPxDhOWPBxThEeB7Q9w39opAHtr3VtyfJunijXst62-37zh3UWDbGAM03Z_xpJfiiSFQ7ya/s1600/Pmay02.jpg" height="320" width="222" /></a></div>
<br />
This one was a very simple one, I used part of a piece of paper from the parcel and just added a piece of ribbon & a greeting<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinRW-xjdrRKYiobOyFH3LtfifFM2V9gpnqeDglBwBnYUKHm8WZzcdHQJQILaYmwGTWPDIaZ8v_3-1OVZnY93vZu-JqNT21Abc_fk_vbhTs3sii8ZtJL-iYCje0D8v53CYskwqIAXnm5T_c/s1600/Pmay03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinRW-xjdrRKYiobOyFH3LtfifFM2V9gpnqeDglBwBnYUKHm8WZzcdHQJQILaYmwGTWPDIaZ8v_3-1OVZnY93vZu-JqNT21Abc_fk_vbhTs3sii8ZtJL-iYCje0D8v53CYskwqIAXnm5T_c/s1600/Pmay03.jpg" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
So on to the cards from Liz's parcel .......................<br />
<br />
I loved this paper from Liz, at first I wasn't sure what to do with it though, then I decided to add 2 thin strips of ribbon across the corner and to make a tag from some other bits in the parcel, then I just had to add a greeting<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOMastZzwBPhi7KgcucRzbCmAWaY8jNiDnB8gRIFYLY06kFklmGd5cPeaWztFkdalNL4FWSmaxcXJLH3UhLnSjTRhjl4bhyGUfCkv7o78UxMQUWQO5H52Njl1TVI_SK225v6Qv2ICbIKA7/s1600/Lmay01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOMastZzwBPhi7KgcucRzbCmAWaY8jNiDnB8gRIFYLY06kFklmGd5cPeaWztFkdalNL4FWSmaxcXJLH3UhLnSjTRhjl4bhyGUfCkv7o78UxMQUWQO5H52Njl1TVI_SK225v6Qv2ICbIKA7/s1600/Lmay01.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
A very simple one, although I don't like green much I did like this paper and decided to use it with this sweet picture of the little girl blowing bubbles which I layered onto another piece of green<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUCc7THSRyTj3QP_BdI6KGz1EtkUghihA9534PU_Jiw4j2UW4PGexomdiDcNs8JhYlcsUgoqqU3PwgjLVnmIZgyLflQyTUVnFmvsQn_iXrVawc2YlliWGLF3kGGdBeIh_6Ab8XibzuGjM4/s1600/Lmay02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUCc7THSRyTj3QP_BdI6KGz1EtkUghihA9534PU_Jiw4j2UW4PGexomdiDcNs8JhYlcsUgoqqU3PwgjLVnmIZgyLflQyTUVnFmvsQn_iXrVawc2YlliWGLF3kGGdBeIh_6Ab8XibzuGjM4/s1600/Lmay02.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
This one took a little bit of working out and came together gradually. I wanted to use the piece of green card Liz had included and rounded the corners on it, then I was stuck!!! Liz had also included a sheet of paper which had lots of squares similar to the 2 I used here (which I cut from it of course), I rounded the 2 end corners on each of them. Liz suggested the greeting in the centre and I decided to use a strip of white paper so it would look like the topper piece was slipped behind it. Small pieces punched from a remnant of the green card added the finishing touch.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJspmNkJ1LKjFHJbrVQyw9B1NfjegedeFe7YksGdzlsbGNPvTbwWqAQ2OQCHOG-8S-bq6MpX0GHwmXs193ei72-xyY0JD4SuviKyTFw9QM33Ib25DL4EF2aJFFk2pi1rAvL8BVEsGPWH3D/s1600/Lmay03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJspmNkJ1LKjFHJbrVQyw9B1NfjegedeFe7YksGdzlsbGNPvTbwWqAQ2OQCHOG-8S-bq6MpX0GHwmXs193ei72-xyY0JD4SuviKyTFw9QM33Ib25DL4EF2aJFFk2pi1rAvL8BVEsGPWH3D/s1600/Lmay03.jpg" height="320" width="219" /></a></div>
<br />
Ooooh one of Liz's gorgeous butterflies, of course I had to use that, although at first I wasn't sure how as it seemed to get lost on everything I tried. Eventually I decided these 3 bits of paper layered together worked and (just to be different) I chose to line them up with the edge of the card for a slightly different look.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Rx1Pdauc9hG-KAF2L7xrFZNl4cILDFMJG5ytiaeUONUS-srkavIM5YMEVq1u2hXCi-Ay7MPhFNWojK37YPUx60YTOBoD7wE-u8dd46oNg6b5typb80nPYW3w736ob1vR8WwLpEfjT5P_/s1600/Lmay04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Rx1Pdauc9hG-KAF2L7xrFZNl4cILDFMJG5ytiaeUONUS-srkavIM5YMEVq1u2hXCi-Ay7MPhFNWojK37YPUx60YTOBoD7wE-u8dd46oNg6b5typb80nPYW3w736ob1vR8WwLpEfjT5P_/s1600/Lmay04.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
So that's the end of the May parcels, although I still have lots of lovely bits to use in the future ......... now onto the June parcels with a theme from Liz of animals.<br />
<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-18861835987401526362014-04-29T09:09:00.001-07:002014-04-29T09:09:30.841-07:00APRIL PARCEL FROM LIZAlmost at the end of the month but I just have time to show the cards I made from Liz's parcel. Inspiration was short to begin and, although I had 3 planned, I thought that would be it but in the end I managed to make 6, so my Christmas card stash is looking good now.<br />
Here we go then ........<br />
<br />
This one came together as I played around with all the lovely bits and pieces, like most of them this month it was very quick & simple to make<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpcbIzjjsDEvsfwUlF4-GJZTWYjinuZ6UJOMo6kUulg8tQHRLz1ikkZVWYexP0uTxl7Mky4_Gx4vsaVD2ITuW6Zs_FGbIgMiy3bmz0-hvTJ7RstekBhzrSDpYpeL1epyhSoU5j0Gi10I-y/s1600/Lapril01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpcbIzjjsDEvsfwUlF4-GJZTWYjinuZ6UJOMo6kUulg8tQHRLz1ikkZVWYexP0uTxl7Mky4_Gx4vsaVD2ITuW6Zs_FGbIgMiy3bmz0-hvTJ7RstekBhzrSDpYpeL1epyhSoU5j0Gi10I-y/s1600/Lapril01.jpg" height="225" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Another very quick & easy one but this gorgeous little fellow just didn't need much to add to his attraction<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsaFh2BD6_AqFaIkC5LDfjJ9HJo2e7BuUaVQ7er8wgPYbu_TCFurenwtARZQ7fq3lWkwRLJaIyX2mYx49ijapcDdUpStL6LhEx6O0IKtyf9nJhTb_uZpARruKxFlrSbQv3_RAxD7jNIeCo/s1600/Lapril02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsaFh2BD6_AqFaIkC5LDfjJ9HJo2e7BuUaVQ7er8wgPYbu_TCFurenwtARZQ7fq3lWkwRLJaIyX2mYx49ijapcDdUpStL6LhEx6O0IKtyf9nJhTb_uZpARruKxFlrSbQv3_RAxD7jNIeCo/s1600/Lapril02.jpg" height="226" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A lovely robin, always very Christmassy<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0oSHiHTK2EsJHl3hioX5hg_MWdC2l5-c5OuC47tJoYJo29EoBJ5xt7V0Xhg28wXepY4LIMA0SzV-_KfzNhvVcO_L9xJfBHV3CfPeePyUsw9Z_XUToeRR60x4oR5_ZspN-QObQRXfT4FSU/s1600/Lapril03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0oSHiHTK2EsJHl3hioX5hg_MWdC2l5-c5OuC47tJoYJo29EoBJ5xt7V0Xhg28wXepY4LIMA0SzV-_KfzNhvVcO_L9xJfBHV3CfPeePyUsw9Z_XUToeRR60x4oR5_ZspN-QObQRXfT4FSU/s1600/Lapril03.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
For once I was quite pleased with my colouring here. I just backed the image onto a darker purple paper and the lighter purple went lovely with it<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2j5EWKlkmIFuYQN7BTM2RCeqOufbYpDh5aKtPcXY9_7PCqHdMFLSsFwDGaClgDpujsGj84MCaD4tokSnATNhATEzjTYwsxjQAdJLiVsJxmWbWSFZQdBS-pDHfFmzrKMpsWyLwstpZsrzg/s1600/Lapril04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2j5EWKlkmIFuYQN7BTM2RCeqOufbYpDh5aKtPcXY9_7PCqHdMFLSsFwDGaClgDpujsGj84MCaD4tokSnATNhATEzjTYwsxjQAdJLiVsJxmWbWSFZQdBS-pDHfFmzrKMpsWyLwstpZsrzg/s1600/Lapril04.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
I really wanted to use this lovely ornament image that Liz included but at first I just didn't know how, ....... eventually (after a suggestion from Liz, thank you) I used some lacy tape I had to go down the edge and let the image stand out<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I'm not sure where this one came from, LOL, just playing around with bits and pieces and it seemed to work so I took a chance and made it up ................. know what?..... I actually like it!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

So there we are, from my 2 April parcels I made 15 Christmas cards!!!! Great parcels.<br />
Now to get ready for May which was my choice ............. I decided it was time we all used more of those really "busy & colourful" patterned papers that we tend to keep putting aside because we're not sure what to do with them ................ can't wait to see what we all make!!<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-28052281250022283632014-04-20T07:39:00.000-07:002014-04-20T07:39:24.197-07:00PARCEL WITH SECRET INGREDIENT?Time to get on with the April parcels, the agreed theme for this 4th month was Christmas so we could get an early start on those cards! First up my parcel from Pat ............ lots of lovely bits and pieces to play with and I think she slipped in an invisible secret ingredient because I ended up making 9 ---- yes NINE!!! --- cards!! Please can I have more of that secret ingredient Pat?<br />
Because I managed to make so many I am letting one of these be my monthly Christmas card for April.<br />
So here we go ...........<br />
<br />
This one was very simple, I loved the old house and the blue spotted paper was perfect behind it for a snowy sky.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw_OWZqNThM-q2ROvVDtymywpc8oC4rrMv8wtWBsfswNHdIbw0hWpxBbIDInF7mWA5mBTBeZXTWYXXGw4OdqYJquhmIs-uvmnx0Pyng67BPG0AtWVU4unwQ71FG8g2c4kqujbsrP0UbtvS/s1600/Papril01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw_OWZqNThM-q2ROvVDtymywpc8oC4rrMv8wtWBsfswNHdIbw0hWpxBbIDInF7mWA5mBTBeZXTWYXXGw4OdqYJquhmIs-uvmnx0Pyng67BPG0AtWVU4unwQ71FG8g2c4kqujbsrP0UbtvS/s1600/Papril01.jpg" height="320" width="230" /></a></div>
<br />
Another fairly simple one, ........ not one of my favourites though!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheplcgympdZrez6nhcFqqp2ll4zXZ9ZYKfPMnIHEV1Mo8sSFEnv30qLFdUBKcCbJ9Zup-CeXdJjrJr4dlLZnnzr4Y-v5FeT1fn8Oo_mPcKi0ObqwatZvLjGNGhyphenhyphen4zpWcsXe2urgjR-IkdF/s1600/Papril02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheplcgympdZrez6nhcFqqp2ll4zXZ9ZYKfPMnIHEV1Mo8sSFEnv30qLFdUBKcCbJ9Zup-CeXdJjrJr4dlLZnnzr4Y-v5FeT1fn8Oo_mPcKi0ObqwatZvLjGNGhyphenhyphen4zpWcsXe2urgjR-IkdF/s1600/Papril02.jpg" height="229" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I like this one, my colouring wasn't that good although it is better than it's come out here.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGpGdOLePANwySN9g74nLz12KhxXrfM3TijbxkV1HfK9QoEH7O-jeTP-S_W9YEaJMgbAGXm-zSmLFBBnBCWH746ikPZArdX-F88LMPSccqiMZ38XFDCKh7MxTelpb-KVNS3Q8RWtQc0rX0/s1600/Papril03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGpGdOLePANwySN9g74nLz12KhxXrfM3TijbxkV1HfK9QoEH7O-jeTP-S_W9YEaJMgbAGXm-zSmLFBBnBCWH746ikPZArdX-F88LMPSccqiMZ38XFDCKh7MxTelpb-KVNS3Q8RWtQc0rX0/s1600/Papril03.jpg" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
Another easy one to make and another one I like.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF0Sunt8S1Z9FMSFuu6mb7E_3ah6axpl4dr-J25wTaeEnCbMFq-DZbMh_GpkW4LvxzBwhhqixr7myfFb_JOVmz-QRs2BCKwYzBKVVcj3zzNTM5gy3JW8N-5CmuAT_lLsGY4lH5S2PJbLBE/s1600/Papril04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF0Sunt8S1Z9FMSFuu6mb7E_3ah6axpl4dr-J25wTaeEnCbMFq-DZbMh_GpkW4LvxzBwhhqixr7myfFb_JOVmz-QRs2BCKwYzBKVVcj3zzNTM5gy3JW8N-5CmuAT_lLsGY4lH5S2PJbLBE/s1600/Papril04.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
When I sorted out the bits to make cards this one was not among them but somewhere along the line it seemed to come together and get made<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJQWesn_cRb78ejT1zn-rEmpIURv3u2Q8mbVfXXO9Te4Ean_XNvu8v1t8Op-WhD_B2fZhgOlMk6BT1Mwrl26kwj2GHAq5XYGkpZcoNbwL4C_hRznqb7WJ3wVS1m7SQkAwwU90CDtBaOrKd/s1600/Papril05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJQWesn_cRb78ejT1zn-rEmpIURv3u2Q8mbVfXXO9Te4Ean_XNvu8v1t8Op-WhD_B2fZhgOlMk6BT1Mwrl26kwj2GHAq5XYGkpZcoNbwL4C_hRznqb7WJ3wVS1m7SQkAwwU90CDtBaOrKd/s1600/Papril05.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
I really liked this background paper but it was a bit busy so needed covering a little.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN2uADwJsiGkPPE4lLwEDWCP57IhZXV2sA79Tjg6zpGjRxdHnsQWeQlMHH7t5_rh4P1qHpF2UUrXkf7PF9r3Wuq5Luaselr0BBhIDIQoZvIigzuFnOB0cSrADTBzXepXmdec5ebAxYydcY/s1600/Papril06.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN2uADwJsiGkPPE4lLwEDWCP57IhZXV2sA79Tjg6zpGjRxdHnsQWeQlMHH7t5_rh4P1qHpF2UUrXkf7PF9r3Wuq5Luaselr0BBhIDIQoZvIigzuFnOB0cSrADTBzXepXmdec5ebAxYydcY/s1600/Papril06.jpg" height="320" width="223" /></a></div>
<br />
I rarely use aperture cards which is probably why there are quite a lot at the bottom of my draw!! So I thought I'd have a play and ended up with this which I quite like<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb7_I-3DnIzrvmsd5imkvgOyQmu1v4ocmZ-zOE-8I0WHXOpX_9M1fKDtnYKwPkSIhOBKuDEXVpdGtliLNR4nGgq8QBcnEJuwmUt9q2zJGMYx55w6KmuAEKCNJ1mbX86T7aBIXOwIpygMv6/s1600/Papril07.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb7_I-3DnIzrvmsd5imkvgOyQmu1v4ocmZ-zOE-8I0WHXOpX_9M1fKDtnYKwPkSIhOBKuDEXVpdGtliLNR4nGgq8QBcnEJuwmUt9q2zJGMYx55w6KmuAEKCNJ1mbX86T7aBIXOwIpygMv6/s1600/Papril07.jpg" height="320" width="222" /></a></div>
<br />
Another aperture card used,<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdzkeYygFfk3PcjJkeRTFuld5kG89RWPMMjiPzDiDotnOYmOestibbVLULA0S3h4jgYhOLKgmDr-sKGgzYY7t0lpxkIxPZcBtLDEbN79Qatr98D_kxLaRn-Bsm_dVDRaKbtkVRkjWwHFpj/s1600/Papril08.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdzkeYygFfk3PcjJkeRTFuld5kG89RWPMMjiPzDiDotnOYmOestibbVLULA0S3h4jgYhOLKgmDr-sKGgzYY7t0lpxkIxPZcBtLDEbN79Qatr98D_kxLaRn-Bsm_dVDRaKbtkVRkjWwHFpj/s1600/Papril08.jpg" height="320" width="221" /></a></div>
<br />
And number 9 (this will be my April Christmas card!) ......... I like this one even though I don't like green!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkFPDD7rUg96-ZBgpV5DXkqiGftBieEDbHbBzhUvjTg8702khTVLNzSl2ufr2_HDqufWh3U_JKKUzG8hrsGD3Ha18bgGAkdD7VIZWLCLS6RfEfAM2K0MVFcoaybl-smm0MOSFKnntuyYng/s1600/Papril09.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkFPDD7rUg96-ZBgpV5DXkqiGftBieEDbHbBzhUvjTg8702khTVLNzSl2ufr2_HDqufWh3U_JKKUzG8hrsGD3Ha18bgGAkdD7VIZWLCLS6RfEfAM2K0MVFcoaybl-smm0MOSFKnntuyYng/s1600/Papril09.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
So there we are .......... I think that is enough from Pat's parcel for now, I shall save the remaining bits for another day and move onto my parcel from Liz, .......... hmmmmm, wonder if she'll include a secret ingredient to help me too?<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-45033964170415808692014-04-02T10:11:00.001-07:002014-04-02T10:11:24.376-07:00I'M LATE! I'M LATE!Yes I'm late doing this again, so much to do, not enough time! Here we are though with the cards from my parcel from Liz for March, the theme was chosen by Pat and was "The Four Seasons". I wasn't happy with my Spring choice and ended up making a second one so I did 5 cards from this parcel ................. and here they are ...........<br />
<br />
This is (obviously!) my Winter card, couldn't resist using those cute little robins<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOdjoAhZWLinFSpdfsuD_JZKyLccxf8F7h4G4yNXrIanFiPIH-ag9iFug3EnISJBzUG0lkqIlP8wYUYdzT8i3ynAKKkCt6ShzlLH94j2zZHSINkfC49x4S1VxSVoiqlFMIFJGTNbqL4voE/s1600/Lmarch05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOdjoAhZWLinFSpdfsuD_JZKyLccxf8F7h4G4yNXrIanFiPIH-ag9iFug3EnISJBzUG0lkqIlP8wYUYdzT8i3ynAKKkCt6ShzlLH94j2zZHSINkfC49x4S1VxSVoiqlFMIFJGTNbqL4voE/s1600/Lmarch05.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my Spring card ......... the second one I made. Those little birds nesting are definitely saying Spring is here<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQRGecPDUnbMXqj0ZDFamU_-bbP2Da74hK2UHlSZ-fH58cTJN-DxZE7ueaBfVCxiAMMuMPJ5xbRyYbDcs-RAAelf9GGLrrnaRu7KKxjSp_X3Rz62hphWVavFyEdKC1ccP5wwMZBz3vyP_8/s1600/Lmarch01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQRGecPDUnbMXqj0ZDFamU_-bbP2Da74hK2UHlSZ-fH58cTJN-DxZE7ueaBfVCxiAMMuMPJ5xbRyYbDcs-RAAelf9GGLrrnaRu7KKxjSp_X3Rz62hphWVavFyEdKC1ccP5wwMZBz3vyP_8/s1600/Lmarch01.jpg" height="225" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my Summer card, beautiful lilac<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBQ04tmQeEo7F2z3Kat-d4XTb2zR66d440Oe6Lc3-E0towQ3tkdHSjYkwywkc8ytJHd9jw4fm2y4DjxeQXC8BOQFtQm3JpK_IWvUjw28Il912Ulg4KceyAL7PR8XfU6Chu6fENPG2aOpyG/s1600/Lmarch02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBQ04tmQeEo7F2z3Kat-d4XTb2zR66d440Oe6Lc3-E0towQ3tkdHSjYkwywkc8ytJHd9jw4fm2y4DjxeQXC8BOQFtQm3JpK_IWvUjw28Il912Ulg4KceyAL7PR8XfU6Chu6fENPG2aOpyG/s1600/Lmarch02.jpg" height="320" width="235" /></a></div>
<br />
This was the first card I made for Spring then I decided it seemed more Autumn to me for some reason ....... still not sure really which it suits best!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJS37YZwrzEKdhJyJ5ahyecPra-XzCouz0Ctt6uy4FZMUviPBRxYhUpftdoVdoSp3vDfnG1jZDdKyjjUbvzIkofFFreWcJy4V-qqd-O-ZElAy8AUqb9TDNSmR3AKacNhNv-w_LOsHAo45q/s1600/Lmarch03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJS37YZwrzEKdhJyJ5ahyecPra-XzCouz0Ctt6uy4FZMUviPBRxYhUpftdoVdoSp3vDfnG1jZDdKyjjUbvzIkofFFreWcJy4V-qqd-O-ZElAy8AUqb9TDNSmR3AKacNhNv-w_LOsHAo45q/s1600/Lmarch03.jpg" height="320" width="241" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my Autumn card, the skeleton leaves and the touches of red/pink/brown do it for me<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUxfBvt-4SWDAn1GA-fPl55jvLwUlzhyJ8BXwnMYFl5mo1kUxqdsjmhRDhDZ3sgFtmWZCIcMFTi5HXXN_yg7EoRTBYJd9YNSGY1qaPSy6DhMGJLOaPJ9YtwtCIA-_Pr38aBQh90NTyLNpC/s1600/Lmarch04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUxfBvt-4SWDAn1GA-fPl55jvLwUlzhyJ8BXwnMYFl5mo1kUxqdsjmhRDhDZ3sgFtmWZCIcMFTi5HXXN_yg7EoRTBYJd9YNSGY1qaPSy6DhMGJLOaPJ9YtwtCIA-_Pr38aBQh90NTyLNpC/s1600/Lmarch04.jpg" height="320" width="241" /></a></div>
<br />
We also decided this year that we would make one Christmas card each month, I have finally caught up with them and here are my first 3 -- Jan/Feb/March -- cards ready for Christmas!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
So I am all up to date for the moment and time to move onto the April parcels.<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-83271558266883144832014-03-24T09:11:00.000-07:002014-03-24T09:11:14.967-07:00MARCH PARCEL FROM PATTime to open the March parcels, the theme chosen by Pat was "The Four Seasons" .......... lot's of lovely bits and pieces to work with in Pat's parcel. My only problem was I don't do Easter or Halloween cards and nothing was really shouting Spring or Autumn to me, so I did my Summer & winter cards then had a think about the bits I had left. To actually make Easter or Halloween cards seemed a waste of time as I wouldn't use them and yet there were some really cute bits Pat had included that I wanted to use ........ eventually I decided to make 2 "tags" that could be used on a card if I wanted or, who knows, may find their way into my Art Journal for my future pleasure!!!<br />
So here they are, hope you like them ....................<br />
<br />
My Winter card, I was actually quite happy with my colouring of the picture, i used my water colour pencils as I wanted to keep it quite light.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmCxsZ3bSNHevuuFPFubNpJs8vxFO8xQ1pF2WeYGm8xTkv67_MCAH83WmNseOaAeY7wa6P3eWf7Wl6JzUvwK6WtdG6xHDhdv7JSLFFlmulOLqFhy_ugPfUSf3AZZh7WiIJ3C0OoZQ62cBz/s1600/Pmarch01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmCxsZ3bSNHevuuFPFubNpJs8vxFO8xQ1pF2WeYGm8xTkv67_MCAH83WmNseOaAeY7wa6P3eWf7Wl6JzUvwK6WtdG6xHDhdv7JSLFFlmulOLqFhy_ugPfUSf3AZZh7WiIJ3C0OoZQ62cBz/s1600/Pmarch01.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<br />
My Summer card ...... I just had to use this lovely flowery picture Pat included and the roses and butterfly immediately said summer to me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwgnkNDm3ArDWu7GYiWPc3fesuHCG2VRhVCMdBIMHaFz9MvAUeV0AZU2feiQnPQGNDby_J0JOUyCROqVc3Q569cKsfVe6l_Xsjq9SLK_FY61boBbV1iIc_CSFtwXWcbYF9FM9sdPX6lbrO/s1600/Pmarch02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwgnkNDm3ArDWu7GYiWPc3fesuHCG2VRhVCMdBIMHaFz9MvAUeV0AZU2feiQnPQGNDby_J0JOUyCROqVc3Q569cKsfVe6l_Xsjq9SLK_FY61boBbV1iIc_CSFtwXWcbYF9FM9sdPX6lbrO/s1600/Pmarch02.jpg" height="320" width="237" /></a></div>
<br />
A Halloween tag ................ I was quite happy with this and liked my decision to have some bits going over the edge of the tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9-LSlda_nRKSp1DD9eglXCt5Gqh_OPdszjsB4Z0rSYNkk4V3xTeRrjNZb-ecf2-NhoTVYXUtjrVHlkNEF0CM7yI2NEMrLF6aytviGyfu3KUn30OY0IRcSlru71w_-AaUnQQDfCm_C_UTY/s1600/Pmarch03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9-LSlda_nRKSp1DD9eglXCt5Gqh_OPdszjsB4Z0rSYNkk4V3xTeRrjNZb-ecf2-NhoTVYXUtjrVHlkNEF0CM7yI2NEMrLF6aytviGyfu3KUn30OY0IRcSlru71w_-AaUnQQDfCm_C_UTY/s1600/Pmarch03.jpg" height="320" width="302" /></a></div>
<br />
My Easter tag ............... I had to use this lovely dragonfly vellum paper & the cute little tag, a little bit of ribbon & a couple of flowers finished the tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzG0wAziRCarByqJowwegsZ20ysPcJJV9PaX4ItgpFHW0UaVxzObhTf9NOPtl9SMUCv-Rd8IWVuL8TAzFqlmMSn6TlX-Wf2jeSVOX0kvPu3siTaNUXJEFsEVLhwt77pHI_hmfHa2nEHpPU/s1600/Pmarch04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzG0wAziRCarByqJowwegsZ20ysPcJJV9PaX4ItgpFHW0UaVxzObhTf9NOPtl9SMUCv-Rd8IWVuL8TAzFqlmMSn6TlX-Wf2jeSVOX0kvPu3siTaNUXJEFsEVLhwt77pHI_hmfHa2nEHpPU/s1600/Pmarch04.jpg" height="320" width="224" /></a></div>
<br />
So there we are, I know I can get more from Pat's parcel at a later date but for now it is time to turn my attention to the goodies in the parcel from Liz!<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-70404050712954223252014-03-08T06:29:00.002-08:002014-03-08T06:29:36.677-08:00I'M LATE, I'M LATE .......I know it's March and here I am posting the last of my February cards!!!!! Blame my daughter for being so generous as to share her delightful cold with me ............. blame Liz for choosing the 1-2-3 challenge (Oh am I glad to see the back of that one!!) ........ alright, if you must, blame me for being lazy!!<br />
So I finally got this challenge finished and I'm sure Pat heard my huge sigh of relief all the way over in Kent, LOL. I managed 4 cards from Liz's parcel eventually and here they are .........<br />
<br />
For the first one I used the pinky yellow patterned paper & the Happy Birthday piece, with the plain red behind the greeting bit, then the pretty little butterflies as my 3 embellishments. Think this one is what I'd call "the best of a bad bunch"!!!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQG-qG9BNzNvaKAlgLAldDG4FKb1pr1P1n1JdZvbBN4xbeJ76Dd8X5ohxKHLPSdpSX_ix0m6oO-Kv1kJsaRCiVVGTTa64np5EeePPasr0kXnhoZ7yHUxhoLXgX8GT8pibQWutrIH89FWVy/s1600/Lfeb01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQG-qG9BNzNvaKAlgLAldDG4FKb1pr1P1n1JdZvbBN4xbeJ76Dd8X5ohxKHLPSdpSX_ix0m6oO-Kv1kJsaRCiVVGTTa64np5EeePPasr0kXnhoZ7yHUxhoLXgX8GT8pibQWutrIH89FWVy/s1600/Lfeb01.jpg" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
This one is ok, I used 2 bits of the brown/white patterned paper and a plain piece in between, with 3 bits of card candy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxhyXUCK4_EsWFt2lFKoClBk-Cu-6wm99mcdDrzViGKGYgkzF2OfIosT2zEYTWNMFNAhjYMF_RTeHhslZZ33a2i7e0zJmNlU2nf-_Z9Tb0pp_-incz_xLqNZD_9Qe5_a16-f0WjHGBNDd/s1600/Lfeb02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxhyXUCK4_EsWFt2lFKoClBk-Cu-6wm99mcdDrzViGKGYgkzF2OfIosT2zEYTWNMFNAhjYMF_RTeHhslZZ33a2i7e0zJmNlU2nf-_Z9Tb0pp_-incz_xLqNZD_9Qe5_a16-f0WjHGBNDd/s1600/Lfeb02.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This one is very plain & simple and I'm not keen on it at all !!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfqyv1tjiHU9ap2vIH22RfKxNlf8lXLNRWYn6qB3AwDnkmVl1BX2-8nP8n8ZmwoTwpjgWxCs5yMxcxVppvKeKphLp4D2b7pMLnB4lt9fQZSzoaM_tjTjqm4jICaZORNQ20vF290XR1dLgi/s1600/Lfeb03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfqyv1tjiHU9ap2vIH22RfKxNlf8lXLNRWYn6qB3AwDnkmVl1BX2-8nP8n8ZmwoTwpjgWxCs5yMxcxVppvKeKphLp4D2b7pMLnB4lt9fQZSzoaM_tjTjqm4jICaZORNQ20vF290XR1dLgi/s1600/Lfeb03.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I don't really like this one, ....... I used the patterned square of paper with the brown (yes it is brown although it looks black here), then used another patterned bit to edge the yellow piece .......... however just after scanning it that thin edging piece fell off (it never did want to stick!!) and I have to admit I like the card better without it so this one doesn't really qualify now as it only has one patterned piece!!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuMcSPNKyg-lKsJlf30ktzmsfENKF-cEBgRG8kbO0AWHNrZ1NV1yAWZG853sGlA3xDQ7AcAFo3evmu6uQe8pHdYQWXu6grngEHnUPj8HuvoxKYFw741Xhq82vbNE02EoB4zXy2_Il3xnew/s1600/Lfeb04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuMcSPNKyg-lKsJlf30ktzmsfENKF-cEBgRG8kbO0AWHNrZ1NV1yAWZG853sGlA3xDQ7AcAFo3evmu6uQe8pHdYQWXu6grngEHnUPj8HuvoxKYFw741Xhq82vbNE02EoB4zXy2_Il3xnew/s1600/Lfeb04.jpg" height="232" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
So there we are, Februarys' 1-2-3 challenge is all done and dusted .................. and it really was a challenge and a half for me!!! I've had a quick look at my March parcels and I'm a happy bunny again, I can work with them and with Pat's "4 seasons" theme.<br />
<br />TerriBretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08604661043203061944noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3628553308406857511.post-83063694071058703702014-02-17T08:28:00.001-08:002014-02-17T08:28:38.860-08:00WEEKLY JOURNAL PAGE CHALLENGE!!I have joined a Facebook group where every week you get a prompt for a Journal page ........... I thought it might be fun and teach me more about Art Journalling. It is ..... and it has!!! I've found I enjoy having a prompt as a starting point much more than just a blank page, especially when it is up to me how I interpret that prompt, it just gives me that place to begin.<br />
I was a little slow to get going with things but have now caught up, and I've decided to let you see my pages too (if you want to look at them that is!).<br />
So here are weeks 1-6 .................. minus week 4, I'm not happy with that one yet!!!<br />
<br />

<br />
Because I am enjoying this so much I also decided yesterday that each month I would attempt a Journal page using the "theme" from our parcel swaps ............ I have to catch up there as I have January to do as well as this month!!<br />
Sooooooooo it looks like you might be seeing a lot of journal pages this year .................. well, you can ignore them if you really want to, I'll never know, LOL<br />
