I also made 3 other cards from my own bits this month, 2 more for my Christmas stash and 1 birthday that I don't really need, LOL, but it just came together as I was sorting through some bits ...........

May and time to open a new parcel ............ it was Pat's choice this month and she chose "Nautical" ......... so I thought I'd open her parcel first. Lots of lovely bits & pieces fell out when I did ..... papers, ribbons, stamped images, etc.,......... the only thing missing was inspiration!!
I spread the bits out beside my computer and, inbetween answering e-mails and playing facebook games, I kept looking at them. It took a while but eventually I had one card worked out, ..... from there things seemed to fall into place and (over a couple of days) I found I had made 7 (yes seven!!) cards,.......... not bad for someone with no inspiration, LOL.
So here are 6 of them (I'll show the other one later on!) ............

A few days ago I was sorting out some bits & pieces (trying to bring some sort of order to my stash once again!!!) and found several bits I felt I wanted to use ........... so sorting & tidying my stash was once again put aside as I dragged bits & pieces from here & there and (so far, I have more bits I want to use) made these 3 cards ...............

A days crafting with Liz yesterday (Thursday) saw me tackling her April parcel, ........ we're still on the theme of Christmas which means I'm actually getting some cards done before Christmas arrives!!!
We both worked hard and ....... inbetween nattering (of course) ....... we ended up doing 5 cards each! I was pleased with mine, which is a plus as so often I end up not liking what I do a lot!!
Almost everything used came from Lizs parcel except for a few gems ..........

Now for Aprils challenge between Liz, Pat & myself the subject was "Christmas Cards" ........... good choice Liz, I need to get some done befor December for a change!!
I opened Pata parcel first and found lots of lovely bits and pieces. I wasn't sure what I was going to do to start off but suddenly things fell into place and I had 5 cards made!!! Liz and I worked very hard that day ..... inbetween nattering of course! The 6th card here uses a picture from Pats parcel but the background paper & other bits were mine ............

Here I am again then with some more bits for you. Firstly I have 3 card fronts I made digitally .......... very useful when you want a quick card and fun to do.
They could also be used as tags to send friends an online greeting of course.
This next card has to be the cheapest, easiest & quickest card I have ever made, ......... it was simply an old scrap of wrapping paper and a greeting cut from an old card, that's it although I did add a few little gems to it,

This is my favourite one
This one I used some of my own paper for the background
This one I'm not sure about!!
Like this one
On this one I added strips of my own paper at the sides, I tried one that Pat had enclosed but it wasn't quite right.
I again added my own backing paper to this one, I didn't like the plain card behind it but wanted something that was very light.
The blue strips are mine on this one. I love the little wooden boat Pat sent.
I didn't think I'd use this paper yet as it just didn't say "Nautical" to me ............ the bird didn't either really .......... but the 2 seemed to go together nicely. I love the paper even if I don't like green, LOL
This one is all from Pat ............ most of it from the parcel and the gold trim & greeting she had sent me before.
This one again I wasn't sure I'd use, but in the end I like what I did ............. I'm even happy with my colouring of the bird!!
